LEXINGTON, KY - Jonathan French has joined the athletic department staff at Transylvania University as Assistant Director of Media and Communications. 

French joins the staff at Transylvania after most recently working as a special assistant to the administration of the athletic department earlier this year. 

"I am beyond grateful for both Holly and Jeff, as well as the rest of the athletic department for the opportunity to be a part of the staff at Transy," said French. "I grew exponentially in both professionalism and experience during my short tenure earlier this year and I have no doubt I will continue to grow."

Prior to his time at Transylvania, French worked with ASM Global Talent Acquisition in Louisville as a Game Day Operator. In the role, French coordinated volunteer staff for game days and worked to enhance the fan experience. 

French earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in May of 2024 with a double major in Management and Marketing. During his time as a student, he served on numerous committees within Phi Gamma Delta, including Recruitment Chair, Philanthropy Committee and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Darkness Walks.
