KANSAS CITY, MO – The College of Wooster men’s soccer coaching staff was recently selected as the United Soccer Coaches College Region VII Staff of the Year.

This is the second recognition for head coach Andy Zidron and assistant coach Jack Giloth this season after being named the North Coast Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year.

The duo led the team to an 11-2-6 record and a No. 3 seed in the NCAC Tournament. The 11 wins were the program's most since 2004 and the program’s first double-digit win season since 2006. It was also the program's first trip to the conference tournament since 2004 and its fourth overall.

The Fighting Scots started their season with three consecutive wins at Carl Dale Field, which led to an 8-0-2 non-conference record. They had three streaks of three consecutive wins, including a four-game streak to conclude their non-conference season.
