North Coast Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week | December 2, 2025

Men’s Basketball – Isaac Ward, Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan senior guard Isaac Ward (Circleville, OH/Logan Elm) powered the Battling Bishops to a 77-69 win over Capital on Tuesday, leading all scorers with 20 points on an efficient 7-for-10 shooting. The senior added a season-high five assists and matched it with five rebounds, while knocking down 6-of-8 attempts at the line to guide OWU to the eight-point non-conference victory.

Women’s Basketball – Krystal Montas, Oberlin
Oberlin junior forward Krystal Montas (Sarasota, FL/Riverview) delivered a balanced, two-way week, averaging 11.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 2.3 steals across three games as the Yeowomen went 2-1. The forward opened the three-game stretch with a season-high 16 points on 6-for-12 shooting, adding six rebounds, three steals and two blocks in a 64-51 win over Alma. Montas followed with 11 points, four rebounds, two blocks and a season-high three assists in a hard-fought loss at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (62-44). She then closed the week with seven points, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals in a 63-53 victory at Pomona-Pitzer, continuing to anchor Oberlin on both ends of the floor.

Milestones & Records (Nov. 24-30)

Denison, Men’s Basketball – Junior forward Trevor Reed (St. Louis, MO/John Burroughs School) recorded the second double-double of his career in Denison’s 72-68 win over Otterbein, leading the Big Red with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

DePauw, Football – With Saturday’s win at Wisconsin-Whitewater, the Tigers’ senior class became the winningest in program history with 40 victories (40-5), surpassing the Class of 2024, which finished with 39 wins … After recording five receptions against the Warhawks, senior wide receiver Robby Ballentine (Merrillville, IN/Andrean) tied the program’s single-season receptions record with 88 catches, matching the mark set by John Stephens in 2001. 

DePauw, Women’s Basketball – Junior forward Olivia Hart (Murfreesboro, TN/Central Magnet) was named to the Midwest Challenge All-Tournament Team after averaging 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds across two games, highlighted by 18 points and six boards in the Tigers’ 64-60 win over Wisconsin–La Crosse.

Kenyon, Men’s Basketball – Sophomore forward Jackson Burke (Paramus, NJ/Dwight-Englewood School) scored a career-high 14 points in the Owls’ 73-60 win over Bluffton, adding seven rebounds, a team-high three blocks, and a career-high two steals.

Ohio Wesleyan, Men’s Basketball – Sophomore wing Jake Lowman (Delaware, OH/Hayes) scored a career-high 18 points in the Battling Bishops’ 77-69 win over Capital, going 5-for-8 from the field and a career-best 4-for-5 from three while adding four steals, five rebounds, one block, and one assist. 

Ohio Wesleyan, Women’s Basketball – Junior forward Macy Miller (Marysville, OH/Milford Center Fairbanks) recorded her fourth double-double in the Bishops’ first five games in Tuesday’s 74-59 win over Ohio Northern. Miller lead Ohio Wesleyan with 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals in the 15-point victory.
