13 NCAC Athletes Selected for NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

The 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships are set to take place this weekend, Friday-Saturday, March 14-15 at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, New York, hosted by Nazareth University. Thirteen North Coast Athletic Conference student-athletes from eight different schools will represent the conference this weekend.
 
Highlighting the list of men's entries is Wabash senior Will Neuabuer (South Bend, IN/John Adams), who holds the Division's second-fastest time in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:51.30 which will commence on Friday at 3:45 p.m. Denison senior Chris Slater (Hudson, OH/Hudson) enters the national meet tied for third in the weight throw with a toss of 19.81 meters and will compete on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Connor Smith (Marysville, OH/Marysville) is tied for 10th in the high jump after clearing the bar at 2.06 meters and will compete on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Denison senior Ari Skolnik (Glencoe, IL/New Trier Township), who is in a four-way tie for 11th place with a time of 8.06 in the 60-meter hurdles which is set to take place on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Hiram first-year Gavin Dunn (Apopka, FL/West Oaks Academy) earned a ticket to the national championship after tying for 11th in the long jump with a leap of 7.25 meters. Dunn will compete on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Wabash senior Brayden Curnutt (Kokomo, IN/Western) will arrive in Rochester with the 16th fastest mark in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:20.99 and will compete on Friday at 4:45 p.m. Oberlin junior Namu Makatiani (Nairobi, Kenya/George School (PA)) is tied for 17th in the triple jump with a mark of 14.41 meters and is set to compete on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

On the women's side, six NCAC athletes will travel to Rochester. In the 60-meter hurdles, the league will be represented by three athletes, including DePauw sophomore Liberty Scott (Galvenston, IN/Lewis Cass), Ohio Wesleyan first-year Katherine Dortmund (Westerville, OH/Columbus St. Francis DeSales), and Wooster senior Daysia Hargrave (Orrville, OH/Orrville). Scott and Dortmund enter the national meet tied for 13th with an identical mark of 8.74 seconds. Hargrave sits just 0.05 seconds behind Scott and Dortmund with a time of 8.79 seconds, which is tied for 15th in national standings. The trio is set to compete on Friday at 1:45 p.m. DePauw senior Katie Moore (Lawrenceville, IL/Lawrenceville) heads to the national meet ranked 16th in the pentathlon with 3,395 points and will compete on Friday, starting at 10:20 a.m. Wittenberg junior Taylor Weiss (Powell, OH/Olentangy Liberty) is in a five-way tie for 16th in the high jump with a leap of 1.68 meters. Weiss is set to compete on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Fellow teammate, senior Meghan Frazier (Alliance, OH/Alliance) holds the 17th fastest time in the 400-meter dash at 57.18 seconds. Frazier will compete on Friday at 3:25 p.m.
