OBERLIN, OH -- Wittenberg won its second consecutive and fourth overall league title at the 2025 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Oberlin’s John W. Heisman Field House in Oberlin, Ohio. The Tigers accumulated 139.5 points to win the team title, while Wabash finished second with 120 total points. Denison finished third with 99 points, followed by DePauw in fourth (89.5), Oberlin in fifth (82), Ohio Wesleyan in sixth (68), Wooster in seventh (48.5), Kenyon in eighth (36), and Hiram in ninth (15.5).
2025 NCAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year Award Winners:
Men's Field: Chris Slater, Denison
Denison senior
Chris Slater (Hudson, OH/Hudson) collected the award as the league’s top field athlete throughout the meet after earning two spots on the podium at the 2025 championship. The senior was named the conference champion in the shot put after launching the implement 16.05 meters on his final attempt in the ring. He also placed second in the weight throw with a toss of 17.86 meters.
Men's Sprint/Hurdles & Newcomer of the Year: Jack Kittle, Wittenberg

Jack Kittle (Chagrin Falls, OH/Chagrin Falls) earned newcomer of the year honors as well as the league’s top sprinter award after earning three All-NCAC honors. The rookie placed first in the 400-meter dash after crossing the finish line in 49.43 seconds. Kittle, along with classmate
Dashawn Seye (Centerville, OH/Centerville), junior
Cameron Elliott (Springfield, OH/Springfield), and sophomore
Owen Bier (Elyria, OH/Midview), earned the conference title in the 4x400 meter relay, breaking the tape in 3:24.91. The Chagrin Falls, Ohio native earned his third all-conference honor in the 200 meter dash, finishing second with a time of 22.33.
Men's Distance/Middle Distance: Brayden Curnutt, Wabash
Wabash senior
Brayden Curnutt (Kokomo, IN/Western) earned All-NCAC honors in three events to earn the NCAC Distance Athlete of the Year award. The senior placed first in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters after crossing the line in 8:24.79 and 14:32.80, respectively. Curnutt’s mark in the 3,000 meter run set a new NCAC record, breaking the previous mark of 8:26.60 set by Oberlin’s
Geno Aurthur in 2016. The Kokomo, Indiana native, along with teammates junior
Haiden Diemer-McKinney (Brownsburg, IN/Brownsburg), senior
Will Neubauer (South Bend, IN/John Adams), and sophomore
David Adesanya (Avon, IN/Ben Davis), also picked up all-conference recognition in the distance medley relay, finishing second with a time of 10:24.49.
Men's Coaching Staff of the Year: Wittenberg
The Wittenberg Tigers were named the 2025 NCAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Coaching Staff of the Year for the second-consecutive season.

Josh Lynch,
Christ Marco, and
Jason Scott guided the Tigers to back-to-back titles, and fourth overall after earning 11 All-NCAC performances including three NCAC event titles.
