Kenyon Captures NCAC Women’s Tennis Tournament Title

GAMBIER, OH - Kenyon captured the 2025 NCAC Women's Tennis Tournament title on Sunday, April 27, on their home tennis courts in Gambier, Ohio. The Owls defeated Denison, 4-0, winning their third-consecutive and 18th overall NCAC tournament title in program history.
 
Kenyon began the day with a 1-0 lead after securing two wins in doubles action. The Owls combo of junior Eleni Lazaridou (Veroia, Greece/4th Lyceum of Veria) and first-year Hana Nouaime (Eagleville, PA/Methacton) recorded a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles, while First-year Clare Hudson (Louisville, KY/Assumption) and junior Shadia Amado Aguad (Arequipa, Peru/Colegio Anglo Americano Presco) collected Kenyon’s second doubles win with a 6-4 score at No. 2 doubles.
 
In singles play, Kenyon captured three points starting with Lazaridou, who won in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) at No. 1. Sophomore Ana Brand (Aschaffenburg, Germany/Friedrich-Dessauer-Gymnasium) claimed the Owls’ third point at No. 2 with a straight-set victory (6-3, 6-2), while Hudson clinched the match with identical straight-set scores at No. 4 (6-1, 6-1).
 
As conference champions, Kenyon has earned the league's automatic bid into the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Tournament. The NCAA Division III field will be announced on Monday, May 5, at 12:00 p.m.
