The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Men's Tennis teams were announced on Wednesday, June 4. Honorees representing the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) were Denison juniors
Ethan Green (Salt Lake City, UT/Skyline),
Kael Shah (Nairobi, Kenya/ES American School Barcelona (Spain)) and DePauw junior
Finley Buelte (Rockford, IL/Rockford Christian), claiming three of the 18 total selections.
Green, a financial economics major with a 3.87 GPA, was tabbed a first-team All-American. The junior posted a 14-3 singles record, including a perfect 7-0 mark in NCAC play. Green was also the 2025 NCAC Player of the Year, has collected All-NCAC honors twice and is a three-time ITA All-American (one singles, two doubles).
Shah, Green’s doubles counterpart, earned second-team All-American accolades after obtaining a 3.81 GPA. The Global Commerce major finished with an 18-4 singles record and was the national runner-up in the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Singles Championship. Shah is now a four-time ITA All-American (two singles, two doubles) and is a two-time first-team All-NCAC selection.
Green and Shah formed one of the top doubles pairings in the nation, earning NCAC Doubles Team of the Year honors for the second consecutive season. The duo posted a 16-3 overall record, including a perfect 4-0 mark against conference opponents, playing a key role in helping Denison capture its first-ever NCAA national championship.
Buelte garnered third-team All-American honors after being named the 2025 ITA Central Region Most Improved Player on May 19. With a 3.95 GPA, the biochemistry major compiled a 19-6 singles record, earning first-team All-NCAC recognition after two years on the second team.
