LEXINGTON, KY - Seven North Coast Athletic Conference women's volleyball teams were among the over 1,450 teams to receive the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award sponsored by Intent. This marks the third year that a record-setting number of collegiate and high school volleyball teams earned the award.

Denison, DePauw, Kenyon, Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan, Wittenberg, and Wooster were among the 228 NCAA Division III teams to earn the award. Impressively, the Tigers of Indiana and the Yeowomen were recognized as one of 50 NCAA Division III programs to be named to the 2025 Team Academic Honor Roll, which represents the top 20 percent of team GPAs from each division.

The award, initiated during the 1992-93 academic year, honors teams that maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. It is the single largest award offered by quantity of schools, players and coaches honors.
