KANSAS CITY, MO - United Soccer Coaches announced on August 1, 2025, its College Team Academic Award winners, recognizing programs for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
A total of 736 soccer teams (302 men, 434 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Of that total, 167 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.
Five North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) institutions had both their men’s and women’s programs earn recognition, including Denison, DePauw, Kenyon, Ohio Wesleyan, and Wittenberg. With the addition of Wooster’s women’s program, the conference placed 11 programs on the award list.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
