NCAC Extends Partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance 9/17/2025 12:00:00 PM Share: CLEVELAND, OH – The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), building on last year’s successful launch that focused mainly on supporting coaches and administrators and will now engage NCAC student-athletes, further strengthening the conference’s commitment to fostering positive and holistic athletic experiences. During the 2024-25 academic year, PCA worked closely with NCAC institutions to provide on-campus workshops designed to support the professional growth of coaches and staff, along with providing two workshops at the conference’s in-person Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) meetings. Starting this year and running through the 2027-28 season, the partnership will engage conference student-athletes as PCA collaborates with the conference to deliver programming specifically tailored for student-athletes at the NCAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) meetings. “Our student-athletes are at the heart of everything we do,” said NCAC Executive Director Keri Alexander Luchowski. “After a positive experience and investment with PCA last year, it’s exciting to continue a partnership that directly impacts our student-athletes. This programming will give our student leaders valuable tools to navigate competition, manage their roles as leaders in the athletic department, and develop skills for life beyond college athletics.” As a catalyst for a positive sports culture, Positive Coaching Alliance provides research-based training for coaches, athletes, parents, and leaders. PCA workshops combine the latest in sports, educational psychology, and organizational behavior with practical advice from a National Advisory Board of top pro and college athletes and coaches who use our principles at the highest levels of competition. “Positive Coaching Alliance is proud to continue our partnership with the North Coast Athletic Conference, providing student-athletes with the tools and resources to grow as leaders and as people of character." said Ryan Virtue, Senior Regional Partnership Manager for Positive Coaching Alliance. "Together, we’re committed to helping these young men and women succeed not only in competition, but also in life.” With this three-year partnership, the NCAC affirms its goals to provide an athletic experience that prioritizes personal growth, community leadership, and competitive excellence. About Positive Coaching Alliance PCA’s vision is to build a world where all athletes benefit from a positive sports experience with a coach who inspires them to become the best version of themselves in the game and in life.
