NEW ORLEANS, LA – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2025 NCAA Division III cross country All-Academic Teams and All-Academic Athletes on Thursday, January 29.
The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) placed 16 teams on the list of Academic Team honorees. On the men’s side, eight programs earned recognition: Denison (3.35), DePauw (3.43), John Carroll (3.50), Kenyon (3.47), Oberlin (3.57), Ohio Wesleyan (3.50), Wittenberg (3.27), and Wooster (3.51). All eight teams on the women’s side also earned USTFCCCA honors: Denison (3.44), DePauw (3.73), John Carroll (3.54), Kenyon (3.69), Oberlin (3.65), Ohio Wesleyan (3.70), Wittenberg (3.82), and Wooster (3.63).
In order to qualify for All-Academic Team distinction, cross country squads must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
Individually, the NCAC saw 28 student-athletes receive All-Academic Athlete distinction. Twenty conference women made the list, while eight NCAC men were recognized.
In order to qualify for All-Academic Athlete distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
