CLEVELAND, OH - Three North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) women's basketball student-athletes received recognition as part of the 2026-27 D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Teams, released Tuesday afternoon. Denison senior Ada Taute (Chicago, IL/St. Ignatius College Prep) and Ohio Wesleyan senior Macy Miller (Marysville, OH/Milford Center Fairbanks) both secured spots on the First Team, while Denison senior Abby Cooch (Clifton, VA/Bishop Ireton) was tabbed to the third team.
Miller’s selection makes it three straight seasons on the organization’s preseason All-America list as the forward earned a first-team selection last season after being named to the fourth team in 2024-25. Miller was named NCAC Player of the Year and earned All-NCAC First Team honors last season after posting league-leading averages of 16.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. She also tied for third in steals per game (2.3), ranked fourth in field-goal percentage (.507), and tied for fourth in blocked shots per game (1.3). Miller made two different All-America Teams last year, including a first-team spot on the D3hoops.com squad.
Taute’s spot on the Preseason All-America First Team is her first preseason selection, and it comes off the heels of a two-time All-America campaign where the senior helped lead Denison to the NCAC Championship and NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship. Taute slotted onto the D3hoops.com All-America Second Team after a first-team All-NCAC selection, and she led the Big Red with 13.9 points per game. The guard also ranked top five in the league in rebounds (6.8), assists (3.2), and steals (2.2) per game.
Cooch is also a first-time Preseason All-American coming off her first All-America award, earning recognition as a 2026 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Honorable Mention. The senior was Denison’s second-leading scorer at 13.4 points per game, and she led the NCAC in both free-throw percentage (.838) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8) while ranking second in assists per game (3.9). Cooch was also an All-NCAC First Team selection.
