COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the 2025 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad and the 2025 Scholars of Distinctions. The North Coast Athletic Conference was represented by 89 student-athletes with Ohio Wesleyan leading all NCAC schools with 15 honorees, followed by Kenyon (13), Allegheny (12), DePauw (10), Washington & Jefferson (9), Wooster (9), Denison (8), Wittenberg (8), and Transylvania (4). 

The NFHCA also announced the 78 Division III programs that earned the 2025 NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award, which recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year, and the conference was represented by Kenyon, Ohio Wesleyan, Washnington & Jefferson and Wooster.

Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. The NFCHA Scholars of Distinction honors undergraduate student-athletes who have exhibited exceptional academic excellence, achieving a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher throughout the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year.
