Baseball Pitcher – Jake Corll, John Carroll
John Carroll senior pitcher Jake Corll (Austintown, OH/Austintown Fitch) delivered a dominant performance on the mound to lead the Blue Streaks to an 11-0 road victory over No. 25 Case Western Reserve. Corll earned the win after tossing 7.0 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out six batters. The right-hander faced 23 batters and held opponents to an impressive .087 batting average.
 
Baseball Player – Quintin Applegate, Wittenberg
Wittenberg senior outfielder Quintin Applegate (Delaware, OH/Olentangy Berlin) powered the Tigers to a 4-0 week with a dominant all-around performance at the plate. Applegate hit an impressive .688 (11-for-16), scoring seven runs and driving in nine RBI while posting a 1.063 slugging percentage and .647 on-base percentage. He was disciplined at the plate, as he did not strikeout in 16 at bats. Applegate opened the week by going 3-for-5 with three RBI and a double in a 14-6 win over Wilmington, followed by a 1-for-3 effort with an RBI, a run scored and a triple in a 5-2 victory over Hope. He continued his hot streak with a perfect 4-for-4 performance, tallying three runs and two RBI in a 12-2 win over the Flying Dutchmen, and capped the week by going 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and three RBI in a 15-0 victory over Hope.
 
Men's Golf – Jonathan Oakes, Kenyon
Kenyon junior Jonathan Oakes (Tarrytown, NY/US Performance Academy) led the Owls at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational by finishing tied for 11th in a 150-golfer field with a seven-under-par 209 on the Pine Lakes Course. Oakes opened with a 74 (+2) in Friday’s first round, highlighted by six birdies, then posted a 69 (-3) on Saturday with four birdies and an eagle. He closed the tournament with Kenyon’s best round, carding a 66 (-6) on Sunday that included five birdies and an eagle on the par-five 18th. Oakes finished the tournament tied for eighth with 15 birdies over three rounds, helping Kenyon tie for fifth out of 30 teams in a field that featured 15 nationally ranked programs.
 
Women’s Golf – Becky Williams, DePauw
DePauw senior Becky Williams (Zionsville, IN/University School of Indiana) turned in a strong performance at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, tying for 10th among 120 golfers with a three-round total of 228 (77-74-77) which was just 12 strokes off the lead. Williams paced herself consistently throughout the tournament, leading the field with 40 pars while showcasing steady play across all three rounds. Her performance helped anchor DePauw to 16th out of 24 teams.
 
Men’s Lacrosse – Garrett Smith, Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan senior midfielder Garrett Smith (Fishers, IN/Hamilton Southeastern) led the Bishops to a 12-9 comeback victory over Denison. Smith recorded a career-high six points on four goals and two assists, and added three ground balls, while shooting .750 on the day. His dominant performance anchored OWU’s offense in the second half, as he assisted on two goals and netted one of his own to help the Bishops overcome a 9-6 deficit and claim the three-goal win.
 
Women’s Lacrosse – Mary Martinson, Denison
Denison senior midfielder Mary Martinson (Concord, NH/Concord) turned in a dominant offensive week to lead the Big Red to a 2-0 mark during spring break, including wins over Smith (18-7) and Connecticut College (15-4). Martinson tallied five goals and one assist for six points, while collecting nine draw controls, four ground balls, and causing three turnovers. She earned her 200th career draw control against Smith and finished the week with a .800 shots-on-goal percentage (8-for-10).
 
Softball Pitcher – Jillian Meszaros, Wooster
Wooster sophomore Jillian Meszaros (Hilliard, OH/Hilliard Bradley) recorded a perfect 5-0 dominant performance on the mound, posting a 2.30 ERA over 27.1 innings pitched. Meszaros struck out 23 batters while allowing just nine earned runs and limiting opponents to a .230 batting average. She pitched three complete games in wins over Salem State (5-3), Chicago (5-1), and Lawrence (4-1), giving up just one earned run against Chicago and Lawrence. Meszaros capped the week by tossing a clean eighth inning in a 10-9 win over Saint Lawrence and also earned a victory over MIT (7-5).
 
Softball Player – Cate Barkdoll, Wooster
Wooster senior catcher Cate Barkdoll (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park & River Forest) recorded a dominant week at the plate, batting .577 (15-for-26) with four doubles, a triple, and 16 RBI. Barkdoll hit safely in seven of eight games, posting five multi-hit contests highlighted by a 4-for-4 performance with three RBI in a 7-5 win over MIT.  She opened the week by breaking the program’s career RBI record in an 8-0 win over Morrisville, which now stands at 99 RBI, and capped the trip with her first triple of the season in a 10-9 win over St. Lawrence.
 
Men’s Tennis – Juozas Cioladis, Kenyon
Kenyon sophomore Juozas Cioladis (Kildare, Ireland/McCallie School) went 6-0 on the week at No. 1 doubles and No. 4 singles, helping the Owls post a 3-0 record against ranked competition. Cioladis, paired with first-year Maximo Llamas Castellanos (Guadalupe, Mexico/Prepa Tec Valle Alto), recorded a 3-0 week in doubles and a 3-0 week in singles against nationally ranked opponents. To start the week, Cioladis collected a 7-5 doubles victory and then recorded a 6-2, 6-3 triumph in singles over No. 38 Grinnell. He followed with a strong performance against No. 20 Mary Washington, winning 7-5 in doubles and taking his singles match 6-0, 7-6 (7-3), and capped the week with a 6-2 doubles victory and a three-set singles win (6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3) over No. 23 Christopher Newport.

Women’s Tennis – Eleni Lazaridou, Kenyon
Kenyon senior Eleni Lazaridou (Veroia, Greece/4th Lyceum of Veria) posted a 5-1 combined record at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles during a weekend against three nationally ranked opponents. Lazaridou went 3-0 in singles action with wins over Whitman (6-2, 6-2), Johns Hopkins (6-1, 3-6, 1-0 [11-9]), and Williams (6-1, 6-0). Teaming up with sophomore Hana Nouaime (Eagleville, PA/Methacton), the pair went 2-1 at doubles play, securing victories against Johns Hopkins (6-4) and Williams (6-0) after a hard-fought 7-5 loss to Whitman. Kenyon went 2-1 on the weekend, defeating No. 32 Whitman (6-1) and No. 20 Williams (4-3) while falling to No. 12 Johns Hopkins (6-1).
 
Men's Sprints/Hurdles – Nate Snead, Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Nate Snead (Sunbury, OH/Big Walnut) turned in a standout weekend at the Washington & Lee Carnival with two victories, a top-five finish, and a new program record. Snead teamed up with juniors Joel Adade (Columbus, OH/Beechcroft) and Connor Smith (Marysville, OH/Marysville), and senior Ryan Tripp (Sunbury, OH/Big Walnut) to set the school record in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 41.36, which currently ranks fifth in Division III. Individually, Snead won the 100-meter dash in 10.74 to post the top time in the NCAC and placed fourth in the 200-meter dash with a 21.92, which ranks third in the conference so far this season.
 
Men's Mid-Distance/Distance – Charlie Blackmer, Kenyon
Kenyon sophomore Charlie Blackmer (Libertyville, IL/Vernon Hills) won the 5,000-meter run at the Emory Classic with a career-best time of 14:52.14. Blackmer separated from the field down the stretch to win by 4.21 seconds. His mark currently ranks 10th in Division III this season.
 
Men's Field – Connor Smith, Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan junior Connor Smith (Marysville, OH/Marysville) opened the outdoor season with a first-place finish in the high jump at the Washington & Lee Carnival, clearing 1.99 meters. Smith’s mark currently ranks 10th in Division III this season.
 
Women's Sprints/Hurdles – Katherine Dortmund, Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Katherine Dortmund (Westerville, OH/St. Francis DeSales) delivered a record-setting weekend at the Washington & Lee Carnival, contributing to two program records while also earning three first-place finishes. Dortmund teamed up with classmates Aelyn Baumbarger (Marysville, OH/Marysville) and Kennedy Elfers (Powell, OH/Olentangy Liberty), and first-year Alaina Nathan (Houston, TX/Eisenhower) to break the school record in the 4x100-meter relay (46.99), then set a new program record of her own by winning the 100-meter dash in 12.11. She also claimed first in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.02, which currently leads the nation, while her 100-meter dash is tied for sixth in Division III and the 4x100 time is ranked fourth nationally.
 
Women's Mid-Distance/Distance – Anna Brown, Kenyon
Kenyon senior Anna Brown (South Dartmouth, MA/Concord Academy) turned in a pair of first-place finishes at the Emory Classic, highlighted by career-best marks in both the 800- and 1500-meter runs. The senior opened the meet with a photo-finish victory in the 1,500, clocking 4:37.22 to win by 0.01 seconds, an individual best that finished just 0.21 seconds shy of Kelly Wilder's 33-year-old record in the event. Brown followed with another victory in the 800, lowering her own program record which she set in 2024 (2:14.43), with a career-best time of 2:11.72.
 
Women's Field – Emily Davis, Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan senior Emily Davis (Brimfield, OH/Mogadore) won the discus at the Washington & Lee Carnival with a personal-best mark of 42.06 meters. Davis also placed 10th in the hammer throw with a mark of 39.09 meters. The senior currently ranks first and second in the conference, respectively, this season.

Milestones & Records (March 16-22)
 
DePauw, Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Junior Liberty Scott (Galveston, IN/Lewis Cass) opened the outdoor season by setting both a school record and a Rose-Hulman stadium record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.40 at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational. Scott also won the 100-meter hurdles in 14.61, a mark that ranks fourth in Division III, while her 400-meter hurdles time leads the nation by 1.26 seconds … Junior Shelby Stall (Lindenhurst, IL/Lakes) set two school records, posting a 12.17 in the 100 meters and a 24.62 in the 200 meters. Stall’s marks currently rank ninth and second in Division III, respectively.
 
John Carroll, Men’s Lacrosse – Senior Josh Lombardo (Cleveland, OH/Hawken) scored a career-high six goals in Saturday’s 17-10 win over Wabash. Lombardo’s six-goal performance helped the Blue Streaks secure their first win of the season and their first victory in NCAC play.
 
Oberlin, Men’s Lacrosse – Senior attack Jacob Starcke (Northport, NY/Northport) broke the program record for career goals with his fourth score in a 15-10 NCAC-opening win at DePauw. Starcke finished the game with four goals to become the Yeomen’s all-time leading goal scorer with 166 career goals, and he now ranks fourth in program history in points (197).
 
Oberlin, Women’s Lacrosse – The Yeowomen earned a 20-0 road win at Alma to record the program’s first shutout since 2013.
 
Oberlin, Softball –Sophomore Sophie Stone (Berwyn, IL/Fenwick) helped the Yeowomen post their largest margin of victory since 2023 in a 10-0 run-rule win at Knox. Stone threw a five-inning shutout, allowing three hits with no walks while facing the minimum 19 batters.
 
Ohio Wesleyan, Baseball – Senior Alex Snyder (Massillon, OH/Jackson) became the first Battling Bishop with a two-homer game since 2023 after going deep in back-to-back at-bats in a 16-3 loss at Capital. Snyder also hit the program’s first grand slam since 2024 in the 10-9 win over Olivet.
 
Ohio Wesleyan, Women’s Outdoor Track & Field – Junior Elsa Hoam (Fredericktown, OH/Fredericktown) ran a personal-best 11:34.25 to place second in the steeplechase at the Washington & Lee Carnival this past weekend.
 
Wittenberg, Women’s Lacrosse – Junior midfielder Aubrey Stager (Saline, MI/Saline) set a program record with 17 ground balls in Wednesday’s 17-12 win over Muskingum, the Tigers’ first victory of the season.
 
Wooster, Men’s Lacrosse – Senior attacker Lane Kellogg (Arvada, CO/Ralston Valley) became the program’s all-time leader in career points with 267, surpassing the previous record of 256 set by Jim Applegate (1982-85).
