John Carroll & Kenyon Wrap Up Final Round at NCAA Men’s Golf Championships

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL - During the final round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship at Mission Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, both John Carroll and Kenyon shot a 294. The Owls finished the 2026 championship in a tie for sixth overall with a four-day score of 1,155 (286-291-284-294), while the Blue Streaks placed 18th with 1,192 strokes (295-296-307-294).
 
Illinois Wesleyan (288-279-288-280) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (284-288-290-273) tied for the top finish after they both carded an 1,135. CMS won a team playoff and was named the national champion. Aurora finished eight strokes back in third with an 1,143 (288-291-283-281), Sewanee placed fourth with an 1,152 (293-291-288-280, and defending-champion Methodist rounded out the top five with an 1,154 (284-291-291-288).
 
The 2026 NCAA Division III championship was held on two courses, the par-72, 6,748-yard El Campeón and the par-71, 6,792-yard Las Colinas. Both teams opened play at the El Campeón and then traversed the Las Colinas on day two and were back on the El Campeón for the final two rounds of the championship.
 
Kenyon's Adrian Jordan (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrenceville School) finished as the top NCAC scorer on the leaderboard after shooting a 72-hole score of 280 (67-71-70-72) to tie for third overall. John Carroll’s Justy VonLehmden (Findlay, OH/Saint John's Jesuit) shot a 290 (72-77-68-73) to tie for 33rd, while Owl teammates Connor Gray (Winnetka, IL/New Trier) (74-74-69-75) and Jaiden Koonar (Alberta, Canada/Webber Academy) (73-73-74-72) tied for 41st as they both shot a 292, and the Blue Streak’s Daniel Donahue (Pittsburgh, PA/Central Catholic) carded a 296 (73-73-78-72) to tie for 55th. Kenyon’s Jonathan Oakes (Dobbs Ferry, NY/US Performance Academy) tied for 57th with a 297 (76-75-71-75), while teammate Rafael Frias IV (Parkland, FL/American Heritage School) shot a 305 (72-73-84-76) to place 80th. John Carroll’s Austin Malley (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) (76-74-82-74), London Hoyser (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Mendon) (79-75-80-75) and Wade Boyle (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) (74-74-81-81) shot a 306 (tied for 81st), a 309 (tied for 87th) and a 310 (89th), respectively.
