DePauw's Williams Advances, Denison Concludes Play at NCAA Women's Golf Championship

PALM DESERT, CA – Through 36 holes, Denison totaled a two-day score of 625 (312-313) and DePauw senior Becky Williams (Zionsville, IN/University High School of Indiana) carded a 146 (73-73) individually on the par-72, 5,873-yard Firecliff course. With the team field cut to the top-15 teams after two rounds, the Big Red concluded their play on the national stage, finishing 19th, while Williams was among the top six individuals not on one of the top-15 teams and advanced to the third round.
 
Denison was led by junior Natalia Fanucchi (Carlsbad, CA/Sage Creek), who posted rounds of 76-76 to total 152 (+8). Senior Isabella Dolan (St. Petersburg, FL/Shorecrest Preparatory School) carded rounds of 74-80 for 154 (+10), while sophomore Siena Maschke (Cleveland, OH/Laurel School) had rounds of 80-76 totaling 156 (+12). Junior Lizzy Grant (Hudson, OH/Hudson) shot 82-81 for 163 (+19), and first-year Anais Oge (St. Louis, MO/Clayton) closed at 166 (+22) with rounds of 84-82.
 
Williams will tee off for round three at 12:00 p.m. ET on hole 10.
 
The team and individual champions will be determined after 72 holes of play or the conclusion of the last fully completed round. In the team competition, the lowest four scores from each team for each day will count in the team's total score.
