GAMBIER, OH - John Carroll captured the NCAC title at the 2026 NCAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Saturday at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. The Blue Streaks accumulated 190.0 points across the two-day meet to earn the NCAC crown.
DePauw earned second place with 156.5 points, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (149.5), Denison (105.0), Wittenberg (102.0), Oberlin (49.0), Kenyon (44.0) and Wooster (20.0).
2026 NCAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year Award Winners:
Women's Field: Sydney Flores, Denison
Denison senior
Sydney Flores (Durango, CO/Durango) earned the 2026 NCAC Women's Field Athlete of the Year after claiming the women's shot put and discus titles. Flores tossed 12.96 meters in the shot put and 39.00 meters in the discus.
Women's Sprint/Hurdles: Dakota Houston, John Carroll
John Carroll sophomore
Dakota Houston (Beachwood, OH/Beachwood) finished the 2026 Championships with four All-NCAC honors, including four first-place finishes and three conference records, claiming this year's Women's Sprint/Hurdles Athlete of the Year honors. Houston won the 100-meter dash with an NCAC-record 11.75 seconds and took the 200-meter dash title in a new NCAC-record 24.22 seconds. She was also the second leg on the record-setting 4x100-meter relay squad (47.02). Houston also claimed the long jump title, leaping 5.61 meters.
Women's Distance/Middle Distance: Abby Schoff, John Carroll

Abby Schroff (Lewis Center, OH/Olentangy Orange) earned the 2026 Women's Distance/Mid-Distance Athlete of the Year honor after earning victories in the 1,500-meter and 10,000-meter runs. Schroff finished with times of 4:37.46 and 38:09.39, respectively.
Newcomer of the Year: Kerrington Harper, Wittenberg
Wittenberg first-year
Kerrington Harper (Mason, OH/Mason) earned the 2026 Newcomer of the Year award. Harper placed second in the triple jump (11.21m), third in the long jump (5.48m) and tied for eighth in the high jump (1.47m).
Coaching Staff of the Year: John Carroll
John Carroll's coaching staff, led by head coach
Daniel Tutskey, earned the 2026 Coaching Staff of the Year award after leading the Blue Streaks to their first NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Title. The staff, which includes assistant coaches

Alec Gorman, helped push John Carroll to nine first-place finishes and 13 all-conference finishes throughout the weekend.
