Kenyon Captures 2026 NCAC Women’s Tennis Tournament Title

GAMBIER, OH - Kenyon captured the 2026 NCAC Women's Tennis Tournament title on Sunday, May 3, on their home tennis courts in Gambier, Ohio. The Owls defeated Denison, 5-0, winning their fourth consecutive and 19th overall NCAC tournament title in program history.
 
Kenyon began the day with a 1-0 lead after securing two wins in doubles action. The Owls combo of senior Eleni Lazaridou (Veroia, Greece/4th Lyceum of Veria) and sophomore Hana Nouaime (Eagleville, PA/Methacton) recorded a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles, while first-year Kiara Komlodi (Dunakeszi, Hungary/Csanádi Árpád Általános Iskola) and senior Shadia Amado Aguad (Arequipa, Peru/Colegio Anglo Americano Presco) collected Kenyon’s second doubles win with a 6-3 score at No. 2 doubles.
 
In singles play, Kenyon captured four points starting with Amado Aguad, who won in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) at No. 4. Nouaime picked up the Owls’ second point at No. 3 singles, winning 6-2, 6-3. Lazaridou and sophomore Clare Hudson (Louisville, KY/Assumption) finished simultaneously, with Lazaridou earning a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 and Hudson picking up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 5 to close out the victory.
 
As conference champions, Kenyon has earned the league's automatic bid into the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Tournament. The NCAA Division III field will be announced on Monday, May 4, at 12:00 p.m.
