LOUIS, MO -- No. 13 ranked Kenyon claimed a 4-0 victory over Rose-Hulman in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship. The win advances the Owls into the second round, which will be played Friday, May 8 at 3:00 p.m. Kenyon will take on the winner of the first-round matchup between Grinnell/Wheaton (IL). In doubles action, Kenyon jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead after first-year Kiara Komlodi (Dunakeszi, Hungary/Csanádi Árpád Általános Iskola) and senior Shadia Amado Aguad (Arequipa, Peru/Colegio Anglo Americano Presco) collected a 6-1 win at No. 2 and sophomore Clare Hudson (Louisville, KY/Assumption) and sophomore Maggie Shope (Kettering, OH/Archbishop Alter) earned a 6-0 win at No. 3. In singles, Kenyon earned the win with three straight singles with senior Eleni Lazaridou (Veroia, Greece/4th Lyceum of Veria) winning 6-0, 6-0, Komlodi collecting a 6-1, 6-0 victory and sophomore Elizabeth Ackermann (Charlotte, NC/Providence Day School) claiming a 6-0, 6-2 win.
