Twenty-eight softball athletes in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, revealed on Tuesday, May 26.
The 28 conference student-athletes represent seven of eight NCAC institutions, with a conference-leading five honorees from DePauw and Wittenberg.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 16.
