Four Teams, 21 Student-Athletes Receive NABC Academic Honors

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) unveiled its 2025-26 academic honors, with four North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) men's basketball programs receiving the Team Academic Award and 21 student-athletes named to the NABC Honors Court.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards honor programs that finished the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Denison, DePauw, Wabash and Wittenberg were among the more than 400 programs recognized.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. To be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be academically a junior, senior or graduate student and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher. DePauw led with nine nominees, while Wabash had five, Wittenberg had four, Denison had two and Wooster had one student-athlete named to the Honors Court.
