LEXINGTON, KY - Seven North Coast Athletic Conference women's volleyball teams were among the 1,432 collegiate and high school teams to receive the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award.
Denison, DePauw, John Carroll, Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan, Wittenberg, and Wooster were among the NCAA Division III teams to earn the award.
The award, initiated during the 1992-93 academic year, honors teams that maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. It is the single largest award offered by the number of schools, players, and coaches honored.
