OWU's Citek Earns CSC Academic All-America Third Team Honors

GREENWOOD, IN - Ohio Wesleyan senior faceoff specialist Noah Citek (Long Beach, CA/St. John Bosco) was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® third team for the 2025-26 academic year, announced by the organization on Wednesday. Citek is the 107th overall Academic All-American selection in Ohio Wesleyan history and the third for the men's lacrosse program.
 
A three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, Citek graduated in May with a degree in Neuroscience and Pre-Med. He was also a three-time NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll member, a three-time OWU Top 50 Scholar-Athlete, an eight-time Dean's List honoree, a recipient of the Dr. John Martin Award and the Margaret Moffat Award, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma student-athlete honor society. Off the field, he volunteered with the North American section of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences and took part in the JB Cardiovascular Summer Fellowship at The Ohio State University.
 
Citek matched his classroom success on the field in 2026, setting Ohio Wesleyan single-season records for ground balls (192) and faceoff wins (266), along with career program records for ground balls (603) and faceoff wins (890). He was named NCAC Specialist of the Year and earned first-team All-NCAC, IMLCA All-Region 5 first-team, and USILA All-America honorable mention recognition.
 
Citek and the Bishops finished 11-7 overall, sharing the NCAC title with a 6-2 conference record before claiming the NCAC Tournament championship with a 12-4 win at Oberlin, sending Ohio Wesleyan to its 36th NCAA Tournament appearance.
