GREENWOOD, IN - College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced that Sophia Anderson, Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at Oberlin College, and Marissa Weiss, Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at DePauw University, have been selected to participate in the 2026-27 CSC Inclusion Fellowship.

This year-long educational series aims to foster a deeper understanding of how individuals in athletic communications offices at all levels become effective advocates for inclusion in college athletics, as well as how to better support student-athletes, coaches and fellow administrators at the campus, conference, and national levels.

"It is amazing that this class is the sixth cohort of our Inclusion Fellowship, especially this year as we are celebrating the 10th year of the CSC Inclusion Committee," said Scottie Rodgers, CSC Inclusion Fellowship co-founder, CSC Inclusion Committee founding member and vice president of communications at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. "The commitment to create and cultivate a culture of inclusion and belonging for our members truly makes CSC a leader in college athletics. We are excited to empower this class of Fellows with another year of learning, sharing and personal growth."

Now in its sixth year, the theme for the 2026-27 program is “Advocacy Through Adversity,” highlighting the importance of leadership, collaboration, and resilience. This year’s cohort will take part in workshops, discussions, and projects designed to help them grow as professionals and better serve their campus communities. The fellowship began in September and will conclude at CSC Unite 2027 in Orlando, where fellows will be recognized for their work and assist with programming at the convention.

Since its launch, more than 80 professionals have completed the CSC Inclusion Fellowship, which has become a leading educational opportunity in the field.
