Joined the DePauw staff as head men's basketball coach in April 2022
PRIOR TO DEPAUW
- Served as head men's basketball coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology since 2014
- In eight seasons as the head coach at Rose-Hulman, Loyd led the Fightin' Engineers to a 120-78 overall record and an 82-43 mark in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
- Named the HCAC Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2021
- Rose-Hulman teams appeared in the HCAC Tournament championship game three times
- Directed Rose-Hulman to the HCAC regular season conference title in 2018 while tying for second in 2019 and 2022
- Named to the Silver Waves Media list of 50 Impactful Head Coaches in NCAA Division III men's basketball in 2020 and 2022
- Prior to his selection as the head coach, he was the assistant men's basketball coach and head men's golf coach at Rose-Hulman for five seasons.
- Started his coaching career as an assistant at Earlham College for two seasons before moving on to a two-year stint at Lewis University and four years at his alma mater. His first head coaching position came in June 2006 when he was chosen to direct the program at Illinois Institute of Technology where he stayed until 2009.

Kris Huffman was named the head women's basketball coach at DePauw in June, 1993, and has since compiled a 680-132 record in 29 seasons through the 2021-22 season.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Led DePauw to NCAA Division III championships in 2007 and 2013, a semifinal appearance in 2002 and quarterfinal trips in 2006 and 2008
- Program has Division III's longest string of consecutive appearances in the women's basketball postseason with 18
- Her 680 wins rank 19th among women's basketball coaches on all NCAA levels and fifth in Division III
- Since the beginning of the 1995-96 season, the Tigers have posted a 658-106 record for an .861 winning percentage with the wins and percentage ranking second in Division III during that time
- Team has posted 27 straight winning seasons with no less than a .731 winning percentage in those years
- Her teams have posted a 370-37 record in conference games
- Team is 34-20 in NCAA postseason games during her tenure
- In achieving 600 wins in 722 games, she did so in the fifth-fewest total games in the history of all levels of NCAA women's basketball play

- In June 2008, Huffman served as a court coach for the 2008 USA Basketball Women's U18 National Team Trials in Colorado Springs, Colo.
- Serves as assistant athletics director and has served on the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship national committee
