Senthil comes to Oberlin after a successful three-year tenure as the head coach at SUNY-Canton in Canton, New York.

In his first season in upstate New York, Senthil led the Roos to their first-ever NCAA Tournament after winning the 2020 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) championship, finishing the year with a 16-12 record and 10-4 mark in the NAC. In that same season, four of his players earned All-NAC honors, headlined by NAC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-NAC recipient Andrew Fitch, who repeated those accolades in 2021-22.

This past season, Senthil led the Roos through three different COVID pauses to a 13-12 record and 8-4 mark in the NAC before falling in the conference quarterfinals. The Roos led the nation in defensive rebounding at 34.4 per game and were 13th in the country in total rebounds per game (44.36).

Prior to his arrival at SUNY-Canton, Senthil spent the 2018-19 season as an assistant coach at the University of Chicago, helping the Maroons record 15 wins, which included four victories against Top 25 teams. He has additional coaching stops as an assistant at Clarkson University (2016-18), SUNY-Purchase (2015-16) and Michigan-Dearborn (2014-15).

As a player, Senthil helped Hartwick College reach the NCAA Tournament two times (2011, 2012) and in 2014 he was part of the Hawks return to the national stage as a student assistant coach.

Senthil graduated from Hartwick in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He went on to earn his MBA from Clarkson University in 2018

Stephany Dunmyer enters her fourth season as the head women's basketball coach at Oberlin College in 2022-23, after leading Oberlin to 21-4 record and 13-3 mark in the NCAC in 2021-21, tying the program record for overall wins and conference wins in a season while qualifying as the No. 2 seed for the NCAC Tournament - the highest seed in program history.

In 2021-22, coached first-year Camille Zinaich to NCAC Newcomer of the Year honors and First-Team All-NCAC. Sophomore Gina Lombard was also first-team All-NCAC, while first-year Bryana Woodard earned second-team laurels.

Dunmyer comes to Oberlin after a successful 16-year run as the head coach at Virginia Wesleyan University where she complied a record of 250-181 throughout her tenure with the Marlins. A three-time Old Dominion Athletic Conference Coach of the Year (2006, 2008, 2012), Dunmyer led the Marlins to the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2015.

The 2000 NCAC Player of the Year and three-time all-conference honoree, she was inducted into the Kenyon College Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 2012. Dunmyer is one of only 10 players named to the NCAC Women's Basketball 20th Anniversary Team, honoring the conference's best players from 1993-2003.

Prior to arriving at Virginia Wesleyan, Dunmyer served as an assistant coach for Division I Indiana State during the 2002-03 seasons, helping the Sycamores win the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title and securing a bid into the Women's NIT.

After earning a bachelor's degree in psychology from Kenyon in 2000, Dunmyer was a graduate assistant coach at Ashland University for two seasons while pursuing a master's of education in sport education.
