Wittenberg freshman Tymeerah De'Armond recorded two top-three finishes at the Tiffin University Open. The first-year won the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.07, while also claiming third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.61 seconds. Both times rank first among conference athletes so far this season.

Iyanna Lewis, Oberlin

Oberlin senior Iyanna Lewis placed second in the women's weight throw at the Tiffin Open. Lewis's throw of 17.84 meters was just off her nation-leading mark that was set last week. The senior currently owns the top two throws in the conference this season.

Fatima Henderson-Bernard, Denison

Denison sophomore Fatima Henderson-Bernard posted several strong finishes to help the Big Red place second overall as a team at the Muskie Pride Meet, hosted by Muskingum on Saturday. Individually, she earned a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash (28.10), while also recording a time of 8.34 seconds in the 60-meter dash prelims which places her seventh on Denison's top-10 list. In the relay events, Henderson-Bernard ran the first leg of the 4x200 relay unit that won the event and set the top time in the NCAC so far this season (1:50.37). The sophomore also ran the first let of the 4x400 relay squad that finished in second (4:18.62).

Corin Turkovich, Wittenberg

Wittenberg junior Corin Turkovich recorded a new school record and the fastest time in the NCAC so far this season in the 3000-meter run at the Muskie Pride Meet, hosted by Muskingum on Saturday. The junior posted a second-place finish in the event crossing the line in 10:29.47, just 3.13 seconds behind the winner.

Drew Patterson, Wooster
(Evanston, IL/Evanston Township)
Wooster junior Drew Patterson won the high jump at Saturday's Wooster Indoor Invitational. Patterson cleared 1.62 meters, which currently ties her for 11th nationally in the event and earned her the best mark in the NCAC so far this season.

Liberty Brock, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan junior Liberty Brock collected one individual victory and was a part of two relay wins at the Muskingum Invitational on Saturday. Brock won the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.34 and helped the 4x200 relay team win in a time of 1:49.37. She also led off the 4x400 relay squad that placed first (4:33.29). All three wins helped OWU take the team title by margin of 118-116.

Anna Lindower, Denison

Denison senior Anna Lindower took home the win in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:49.93 at the Fighting Scots Invitational. Lindower's time currently sits as the third-fastest in the NCAC so far this season.

Iyanna Lewis, Oberlin
(Washington, D.C./Sidwell Friends School)
Oberlin senior Iyanna Lewis bested a field of 24 competitors with a toss of 17.24 meters in the weight throw at the Fighting Scots Invitational. The senior's heave was over seven feet farther than the second-place finisher and marked the fourth time this season she has thrown over 17 meters.

Caliyah Bennett, Denison

Denison junior Caliyah Bennett helped secure two wins for the Big Red in Denison's annual dual meet at Wooster on Thursday. Bennett took first in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.78 seconds. The junior also ran a leg on the winning 4x200 meter relay at 1:48.46, which is the fastest time so far this season in the NCAC.

Anna Lindower, Denison

Denison senior Anna Lindower claimed a first and third-place finish as the Big Red competed in their annual dual meet at Wooster on Thursday. Lindower earned the win in the one mile run with her best time this season at 5:24.59. The senior also claimed third in the 800m run with her best showing so far this season at 2:31.92. Her time in the mile ranks fourth in the NCAC and was good for 10th on Denison's top-10 list in the event for indoor track & field. |
Khloe Dubenion, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan senior Khloe Dubenion won the weight throw at the Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge on Saturday. Dubenion posted a mark of 54' 2.75" (16.53m) which broke the OWU record of 53' 1.75" that she set last season. Her performance ranks second in the NCAC and 21st in all of Division III so far this season. |

Meghan Frazier, Wittenberg

Wittenberg sophomore Meghan Frazier was a member of the Tigers' winning 4x200m relay at the Cedarville Invitational. Frazier and teammates crossed the line in 1:46.78 to capture the relay victory, which is currently the fastest time in the NCAC so far this season and ranks in the top 10 in school history. The sophomore also finished in fourth in the 60m dash in a time of 7.97 seconds.

Sage Reddish, Oberlin

Oberlin sophomore Sage Reddish, who ran for the first time this indoor season, turned in a pair of victories at the Dan Kinsey Invitational. Reddish bested eight other runners in the 800-meters, winning the event by nearly four full seconds in 2:22.87 to claim the top spot in the conference so far this season. Reddish also ran anchor in the Yeowomen's winning 4x400 relay unit that clocked in at 4:19.42, recording the fourth-fastest time in the NCAC this season.

Evie Sanford, Wooster

Wooster first-year Evie Sanford came within 5.75 inches of taking down the program's 27-year-old indoor shot put record at Saturday's Bob Shannon Invitational. Sanford beat out a field of 31 competitors with a career-best mark of 40' 0.5"(12.20 meters), which currently ranks third in the conference.

Zora Shakhan, Wittenberg

Wittenberg sophomore Zora Shakhan earned an individual victory and was a part of a second-place relay at the All-Ohio Championships. Shakhan claimed the win in the 60-meter dash, clocking in at 7.84, which currently is the fastest time in the conference. The sophomore was also a member of the runner-up 4x200 relay team that set a new school record after crossing the line in 1:43.30 (1:44.91). The quartet of Shakhan, Haleigh Willison (Crooksville, OH/Crooksville), Meghan Frazier (Alliance, OH/Alliance) and Tymeerah De'Armond (Springfield, OH/Springfield HS) owns the fastest 4x200 relay time in the NCAC.

Athena Tharenos, Wooster

Wooster junior Athena Tharenos earned two All-Ohio honors on Saturday at Wittenberg. Tharenos held off Case Western Reserve's Jessica Kwasny down the stretch to win the 800-meter run in a time of 2:21.86 (2:23.50), which was just ahead of Kwasny's time of 2:22.02 and currently ranks her second in the conference. The junior also ran a leg of the Scots' third place 4x400 relay that clocked in at 4:12.73 (4:16.10).

Wooster junior Drew Patterson claimed the victory in the high jump after a "jump off" with Wittenberg's Taylor Weiss (Powell, OH/Olentangy Liberty) at the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday. Patterson did not miss an attempt through each progression she jumped at through 1.64 meters and is currently tied for the top mark in the league.

Ohio Wesleyan junior Liberty Brock won the 400-meter dash at the Wittenberg Invitational after crossing the line in 59.99 seconds (1:00.79), which ranks as the second-fastest time in the NCAC this season. The junior also led off the 4x400-meter relay team, which sprinted to a second-place finish in 4:12.58 (4:15.94).

DePauw junior Annalise Grammel ran her personal best in the 800-meter run this past weekend at the Wittenberg Invite. Grammel recorded a time of 2:16.80, which leads the league heading into the 2023 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Claudia Partridge, Wooster

Wooster senior Claudia Partridge won the pentathlon with 2,779 points at this past weekend's 2023 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Combined Events Championships, giving the Fighting Scots three NCAC pentathlon champions over the last six NCAC Championships. Partridge claimed the NCAC title after placing first in the high jump at 1.68m (5' 6.0"), which is currently tied for seventh nationally and is just a half inch off her school record set at last year's NCAC Championships. The senior also took third in the 60-meter hurdles (10.12), fifth in the long jump (4.48m/14' 8.50"), sixth in the shot put (7.95m/26' 1.0") and eighth in the 800-meter run (2:52.26). |
