2026 All-NCAC Women's Lacrosse Team

The Denison duo of sophomore MK Barnhart (Rehoboth Beach, DE/The Hill School) and junior Grace Schlossberg (Baltimore, MD/St. Pauls School for Girls) along with Wooster senior Lizzie Hardy (Gibsonia, PA/Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh) earned top Player of the Year honors to headline the 2026 All-North Coast Athletic Conference women's lacrosse squads following balloting by the league coaches.
 
Barnhart led the league in both assists (24) and points (31) in conference play, helping propel her to Offensive Player of the Year honors and giving Denison its second-consecutive and 10th overall recipient of the award. The attacker recorded at least three points in six of seven NCAC games, highlighted by a season-high seven assists in handing previously unbeaten Wooster its first loss of the season on April 8. Through 19 games, the sophomore has totaled a league-best 46 assists to go along with 22 goals for 68 points. Barnhart also earns her first all-conference honor this season with a selection to the first team.

Hardy earns her third All-NCAC honor, including her second selection to the first team after previously earning top-team recognition in 2024 and a third-team nod in 2025. She becomes the second Wooster player to be named NCAC Midfielder of the Year and the first since Megan Healy in 2019. Hardy tied for the second-most points in the league during conference play (26) and the third-most goals (21). She also recorded a conference-high 44 draw controls and tied for the fourth-most ground balls (22). Through 18 games, the senior has totaled an NCAC-best 125 draw controls (6.94/game), along with 56 goals, 68 points, 61 ground balls, and 23 caused turnovers, ranking among the league leaders in each category.
 
Schlossberg, who elevates to the first team after earning third-team recognition a season ago, gives Denison its 11th NCAC Defensive Player of the Year award and first since former teammate Mary Daniel was honored in 2024. In conference play, the junior totaled 22 ground balls and seven caused turnovers, including a season-high six ground balls in the Big Red’s regular-season finale against DePauw. Overall, the defender has recorded 54 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers.

Two additional attackers join Barnhart and Harmon on the first team: John Carroll sophomore Anna Vaccarelli (Medina, OH/Medina) and Wooster senior Brynne Snaguski (Rolling Hills Estates, CA/Palos Verdes Peninsula), while in the midfield, Denison seniors Mary Martinson (Concord, NH/Concord) and Bridget Sheehy (Pawleys Island, SC/Westminster) and Kenyon senior Lily Mason (Evanston, IL/Evanston) join Hardy as first-team selections. On defense, John Carroll junior Mary Wymard (Gibsonia, PA/Pine-Richland) and Ohio Wesleyan senior Abbie Grogan (Louisville, KY/Kentucky Country Day) join Schlossberg, while Denison junior goalkeeper Julianne Henigan (Maplewood, NJ/Columbia) rounds out the first-team defensive unit.

In addition to earning All-NCAC first-team honors in her first season of collegiate women’s lacrosse, Harmon was named NCAC Newcomer of the Year. She becomes the seventh Denison athlete to claim the award and the first since Schlossberg in 2024. The rookie made six starts in conference play, tallying 21 goals to tie for the third-most in the league while adding three assists for 24 points. She recorded at least two points in all seven NCAC games, including a season-high-tying five points in wins over Wooster and Wittenberg. Through 19 games, Harmon has totaled 49 goals, 14 assists, 32 ground balls, 28 draw controls, and 15 caused turnovers.

Finally, Denison’s leadership earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors. Anchored by head coach Amanda Daniels, the Big Red posted a perfect 7-0 mark in NCAC play to secure the program’s league-leading 25th conference title. Daniels is assisted by Maddie Morrell, Tori Vernau, and Katherine Yarusso, as the quartet earns Denison its 13th NCAC Coaching Staff of the Year honor. In conference play, Denison led the NCAC in goals (130), assists (81), points (211), shooting percentage (.504), and save percentage (.654), while allowing the fewest goals (28) and committing the fewest turnovers (87). The Big Red enter the NCAA Tournament averaging 16.53 goals, 9.58 assists, and 26.11 points per game, along with 32.58 shots, 20.37 ground balls, 10.89 caused turnovers, and 14.21 draw controls. They also carry a 6.67 goals-against average and a .534 save percentage.
