Allegheny's Brett Heckert produced a .545 batting average (6-for-11), along with a pair of doubles and six RBI in three games against John Carroll this past weekend. The sophomore also swiped four bases and had a perfect fielding percentage in six chances.

 
Zachary Wilson, Allegheny
(Meadville, PA/Meadville)


Allegheny freshman pitcher Zachary Wilson tossed three scoreless innings for the win in the Gators' 9-5 victory over John Carroll on Sunday. He only allowed one hit and struck out a pair in the win.

Jackson Blevins, Wabash
(Plainfield, IN/Plainfield)


Wabash senior Jackson Blevins batted .538 over three games to help the Little Giants to a 2-1 start to the season. He collected a total of seven hits in 13 at bats including two doubles and two RBI. Blevins went 3-for-5 at the plate with two RBI and three runs scored in the Little Giants' 15-1 win Saturday over eighth-ranked Heidelberg University. He finished Sunday's opening game against Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a 4-for-5 performance to help Wabash to the 5-4 victory. Blevins collected one of only two hits by the Little Giants in a 6-0 loss Sunday afternoon to Baldwin Wallace.






 
Tyler Dearing, Wabash

Wabash junior Tyler Dearing pitched five innings in the Little Giants' season-opening game against eighth-ranked Heidelberg on Saturday, limiting the Student Princes to two hits and three walks. He earned the victory in the 15-1 win while recording a career-best eight strikeouts. Dearing recorded a pair of strikeouts in the first inning after Heidelberg put runners at second and third with a walk and a double with one out.

Andrew Vincent, Allegheny
(Buffalo, NY/Canisius)


Allegheny senior Andrew Vincent compiled six hits across 13 at-bats (.462) in the Gator's three victories last week. Against Washington & Jefferson on Thursday, Vincent collected two hits, one being a home run, in a 10-3 victory. He followed that up on Sunday with a hit and an RBI in game one of a doubleheader against Ithaca, followed by three hits, including a double and home run, four RBI and a run scored in game two.



 
Nick Casey, DePauw
(McCordsville, IN/Bishop Chatard)


DePauw senior pitcher Nick Casey tossed a complete-game one-hitter in a 7-0 shutout at Manchester on Saturday. Casey struck out eight batters while walking just one for the Tigers. He also had a putout and an assist in the field.

Aaron Spidell, Wooster
(Mt. Eaton, OH/Waynedale)


Wooster senior Aaron Spidell went 15-for-25 (.600) last week with 11 runs, 10 RBI, three walks, two stolen bases, two doubles, and his first collegiate homer. Spidell had five multi-hit games, which were headlined by a 4-for-6 afternoon with three RBI, two runs, and a stolen base, as Wooster beat No. 15 Marietta 13-12 on Saturday. The senior went 2-for-2 with two runs scored, two walks, and hit his first collegiate home run against Swarthmore, and was 4-for-4 with four runs scored against Alfred State.
 






 
Alex Gow, Kenyon
(Kentfield, CA/Marin Academy)


Kenyon junior Alex Gow pitched one game this past week and logged a nine-inning, four-hit complete game victory. His effort, which included 13 strikeouts and just one walk, boosted the Lords to a 5-3 win over Penn State Behrend. The four hits Gow gave up were all singles and none of the three runs he yielded were earned.
