2020-21 NCAC Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week

February 1st
Aaron Shank, DePauw

DePauw senior Aaron Shank helped the Tigers to a 3-0 start with wins against Greenville (148-102), Concordia Chicago (83-47) and Wabash (86-75). Shank averaged 18.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game across the three-game span. He was also very efficient, connecting on 78.8 percent of his attempts (26-of-33), ranking fourth in Division III so far this season.

February 8th
Nolan Ginther, DePauw
(Noblesville, IN/Noblesville)

 

DePauw senior Nolan Ginther helped the Tigers to a pair of victories over Ohio Wesleyan last week. In the first game, Ginther produced a 21-point effort, coupled with six rebounds, four steals and three assists. In the second game, he logged 18 points, six rebounds, two steals and two assists. The Tigers are off to 5-0 start to the season and are receiving votes in the NABC/D3hoops.com national rankings.

February 15th
Nolan Ginther, DePauw
(Noblesville, IN/Noblesville)

 

DePauw senior Nolan Ginther helped the Tigers to a pair of victories over Wooster last week. On Saturday, Ginther posted 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists and one steal in a 100-97 victory. Then on Sunday, he netted 26 points, gathered eight rebounds, dished six assists and earned two steals in a 95-85 win. The Tigers are now 7-0 and ranked No. 13 in Division III men's basketball.

February 22nd
Grant Spicer, Ohio Wesleyan
(Cincinnati, OH/Lakota East)

 

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Grant Spicer helped the Battling Bishops to a pair of victories over Wittenberg last week. In Thursday's 66-53 win, Spicer collected 16 points, while also adding eight rebounds, an assist and a steal. He followed that with 14 points, nine rebounds, a steal and a block in a 58-48 victory on Saturday.

March 1st
Kellen Schreiber, Wabash
(Indianapolis, IN/Roncalli)

 

Wabash junior Kellen Schreiber averaged 24.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a pair of Little Giant victories over Ohio Wesleyan last week. In a 65-55 win, Schreiber recorded his fourth career double-double and second of the season after netting a career-best 28 points and grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds in the win. Then in a 93-88 victory, Schreiber hit 9-of-11 shots from the field while scoring 21 points, gathering seven rebounds, earning two steals and dishing one assist. He shot 74.1 percent from the field, connecting on 20 of his 27 shot attempts in the two games combined.

March 8th

(Nobleville, IN/Noblesville)

 

DePauw senior Nolan Ginther helped the Tigers to a pair of victories over Wabash last week. On Thursday, Ginther posted 25 points on 11-of-14 shooting, while also adding five assists, three rebounds and two steals. On Saturday, the senior collected 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting, to go along with a pair of rebounds and assists.

March 15th
Jack Clement, Ohio Wesleyan
(Bellefontaine, OH/Bellefontaine)

 

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Jack Clement helped lead the Battling Bishops to a pair of victories last week over Hiram. In the first game of the series on Thursday, Clement collected 27 points, three rebounds and two assists in a 63-55 victory. On Sunday, he knocked down the game-winning jumper in overtime, giving OWU an 84-82 win. He finished the game with 17 points and three rebounds.

March 29th
Brodgie Gordon, Hiram
(DeLand, FL/DeLand)

 

Hiram junior Brodgie Gordon led the team in both of the Terriers games against Carnegie Mellon last week. Gordon tallied 17 points, while also adding four assists, three rebounds and three steals in the team's first contest on Friday, before netting 29 points, dishing nine assists, grabbing eight boards and earning two steals on Sunday.
