December 6th



Erin Pasch, DePauw
(Indianapolis, IN/Lutheran)


DePauw senior Erin Pasch won the pentathlon with 3,485 points at the Findlay Opener, earning 301 more points than the runner-up performance. Pasch picked up 889 points in the 60-meter hurdles by winning the event in 9.10 seconds. She also collected 627 points with a shot put of 11.49 meters, 601 points in the long jump at 5.15 meters and 697 points in the 800-meter run in 2:29.67, each of which were also first-place finishes. Pasch's high jump of 1.52 meters was good for 644 points and tied for fifth.


Phoebe von Conta, Oberlin

Oberlin senior Phoebe von Conta impressed in the season-opening Spartan Holiday Classic meet by besting a 16-person field in the women's mile with a time of 5:25.07. The timestamp is currently the best in the region and conference while ranking 13th nationally.

Peyton Howell, Ohio Wesleyan
(Canton, OH/GlenOak)


Ohio Wesleyan junior Peyton Howell won the women's high jump at the Tiger Opener by clearing 1.71 meters. Howell's mark is the best in NCAA Division III this season.








 

December 13th

 
Clare Tiedemann, Oberlin
(New York, NY/Grace Church School)


Oberlin senior Clare Tiedemann won the women's 200-meter dash at the Tiffin University Andres Family College Open. Tiedemann broke the tape in 27.22 seconds, edging out 28 other competitors in the event. She also finished ninth in the women's 60-meter dash with a time of 8.35 seconds.

 

 
Phoebe von Conta, Oberlin

Oberlin senior Phoebe von Conta won the women's 3,000-meter run at the Tiffin University Andres Family College Open. Von Conta crossed the line in 10:43.08, defeating eight other competitors.



 

 
Abby Cannon, Oberlin
(Bloomington, IN/Loomis Chaffe School)


Sophomore Abby Cannon produced the top NCAC mark and sixth-best Division III mark this season in the women's weight throw with a career-best toss of 16.26 meters at the Tiffin University Andres Family College Open. She also collected a mark of 11.22 meters in the women's shot put, ranking fourth in the NCAC so far this season.

January 17th

 
Lindsey Magoteaux, Wittenberg
(Sidney, OH/Lehman Catholic)


Wittenberg freshman Lindsey Magoteaux  helped the Tiger women to a first-place finish in the 4x200 relay at the Otterbein Snow Globe Invitational with a time of 1:51.82. She also timed in at 8.06 seconds in the 60-meter dash, finishing in fourth place.


 

 
Dylan Kretchmar, Wooster
(Granville, OH/Granville)


Wooster first-year Dylan Kretchmar won the 3,000-meter run in her collegiate track & field debut at Saturday's Wooster Invitational. Her time of 10:49.46 led a field of 10 and is currently No. 2 in the NCAC this season.




 

 
Malaika Djungu-Sungu, Oberlin
(Arlington, TX/Arlington)


Oberlin senior Malaika Djungu-Sungu moved into second in the conference and 41st in the nation in the triple jump with her winning mark of 10.82 meters at the Wooster Invitational. The current conference leader in the long jump took third in that event (4.87m) on Saturday while also adding a third-place showing in a 10-person field in the 60-meter dash (8.52).

January 24th

DePauw senior Erin Pasch was a double-winner at the Friday Night Spikes Series at Rose-Hulman. The senior won the 400-meter dash in a school record time of 1:00.36 and registered a win in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.31 seconds. She also logged a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash after clocking in at 26.83 seconds. Both her 200 and 400 dash times are the fastest in the conference so far this season.

 

 
Isabelle Hoover, Wooster
(Millersport, OH/Fairfield Union)


Wooster senior Isabelle Hoover notched a win in the women's 3,000-meter run at the Fighting Scots Invitational. Hoover timed in at 10:28.78, recording the top time in the NCAC so far this season.






 

 


Paula Soric, Kenyon
(Zadar, Croatia/Gimnazija Franje Petrica Zadar)


Kenyon freshman Paula Soric won the women's triple jump at the Wooster Fighting Scots Invitational. Soric's mark of 11.13 meters set a new Kenyon program record and was tops in the conference so far this season. She also finished second in the long jump with a mark of 4.79 meters.

January 31st

 
Lindsey Magoteaux, Wittenberg
(Sidney, OH/Lehman Catholic)


Wittenberg freshman Lindsey Magoteaux posted the top conference mark this season in the women's 60-meter dash (7.897) at Saturday's Steemer Showcase. Magoteaux's time was good for second place in a field of 28 competitors. She also timed in at 26.64 seconds in the women's 200-meter dash, finishing fourth among 59 entrants.

 

 
Dylan Kretchmar, Wooster
(Granville, OH/Granville)


Wooster first-year Dylan Kretchmar scored 10 of the Scots' 88 points at Thursday's dual meet against her hometown Big Red. The first-year was a double-winner leading a field of 10 to the finish in the 800 meters (2:32.92) and winning the 12-competitor mile with a time of 5:18.09. Her time in the mile was also the fastest among NCAC athletes so far this season.


 

 
Sarah Voit, Oberlin
(Cincinnati, OH/Mcauley)


Oberlin senior Sarah Voit reset her own school record in the women's pole vault, clearing 3.90 meters at the Baldwin Wallace Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge. The senior won the event and improved upon her second-ranked mark in the nation this season, sitting just three centimeters outside of the top spot.

February 7th

 
Clare Tiedemann, Oberlin

Oberlin senior Clare Tiedemann topped a 23-runner field in the  200-meter dash at the Dan Kinsey Invitational, clocking in a career-best time of 26.89 to move into second in the NCAC this season. She added a second-place showing in the high jump with a mark of 1.40 meters.

 
Meredith Sierpina, DePauw
(Louisville, KY/Louisville Collegiate)


DePauw sophomore Meredith Sierpina won the 3,000-meter run at the Tim Hreha Memorial Indoor Invitational. Sierpina timed in at 10:41.74, besting a field of eight runners. The sophomore's time is the second-best in the conference so far this season.

 
Iyanna Lewis, Oberlin
(Washington, DC/Sidwell Friends)


Oberlin junior Iyanna Lewis bested a deep 29-person field in the weight throw, ripping off a career-best toss of 17.57 meters to move into first in the conference, second in the region, and fifth in the nation in the event. The throw was over a meter better than her previous personal-best.

February 14th

 
Erin Anderson, Denison
(Elmhurst, IL/Culver Academies)


Denison junior Erin Anderson posted a season-best time of 1:01.39 in the 400-meter dash for a third-place finish out of 14 competitors at the All-Ohio Championships. She also helped the Big Red 4x200 relay (1:49.24) and 4x400 relay (4:17.73) teams to a pair of season-best times.





 

 
Corin Turkovich, Wittenberg
(East Liverpool, OH/Beaver Local)


Wittenberg sophomore Corin Turkovich won the women's 5,000-meter run at the All-Ohio Championships. The sophomore broke the tape in 18:49.10, edging out 11 other competitors.

 
Malaika Djungu-Sungu, Oberlin
(Arlington, TX/Arlington)


Oberlin senior Malaika Djungu-Sungu turned in a pair of personal-best performances at the All-Ohio Championships. The senior took first and recorded the top mark among NCAC athletes in the triple jump, while moving into 18th nationally with a leap of 11.51 meters. Djungu-Sungu then added a third-place effort in the long jump (5.41m), which is tops in the NCAC this season and 34th in the nation.


 

February 21st

 
Mihaela Toader, Allegheny
(Mount Lebanon, PA/Mount Lebanon)


Allegheny junior Mihaela Toader recorded a pair of top-three finishes at the Mount Union Raider Tune-Up. In the 500-meter event, Toader won with a time of 1:23.73, while adding a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.30 seconds.

 
Erin Anderson, Denison
(Elmhurst, IL/Culver Academies)


Denison junior Erin Anderson posted a top-10 finish among 43 competitors in the 800-meter run at Saturday's Wittenberg Invitational. Anderson crossed the line in 2:23.05, the fourth-quickest conference time of the season.

 
Erin Pasch, DePauw

DePauw senior Erin Pasch broke her own school record in claiming the pentathlon victory to kick off the 2022 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. She scored a total of 3,578 points after placing first in the shot put (10.77m), the long jump (5.31m) and the 800-meter run (2:24.95), while also recording runner-up finishes in both the 60-meter hurdles (9.13) and the high jump (1.58m).
