Madisyn Bunke, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan freshman Madisyn Bunke recorded a hat trick in her Battling Bishop collegiate debut, helping OWU to a 4-0 victory over Houghton on Friday. She also scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Nazareth on Saturday. Both goals were game-winners for the freshman. 

Meg Murphy, Earlham

Earlham sophomore Meg Murphy recorded a pair of shutouts in goal while leading the Quakers to a pair of victories last week. Murphy had five saves in a 1-0 overtime win over Wilson College on Saturday. In Sunday's contest against Sewanee, she charted five stops in the cage while leading the Quakers to a 2-0 triumph over the Tigers. The two wins have propelled Earlham to a 3-1 record to open the 2019 season, the program's best start since 1987 (also a 3-1 record through four games).

Ashley Barno, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan senior Ashley Barno tallied the only goal of the game as the Bishops came away with a 1-0 victory against Wooster on Saturday. Barno notched the goal in the final minute of the first half. Ohio Wesleyan improved to 4-1, which is tied for the best record in the conference.

Victoria Holman, Kenyon

Kenyon junior Victoria Holman helped the Ladies to a pair of shutout wins over Ohio Wesleyan, 1-0, and Rhodes, 2-0, last week. Holman helped the Kenyon defense allow a mere three combined shots, two for Ohio Wesleyan and one for Rhodes. Most impressively was Kenyon's effort against Rhodes All-American Hayley Mules, a player that set Southern Athletic Association (SAA) records last season in goals (24) and points (63).

Vivian Super, Allegheny

Allegheny freshman Vivian Super tallied two goals and an assist in a 4-0 victory over Ferrum on Sunday. The win was the first in program history for the Gator field hockey team. Super's pair of goals were also the first multi-goal performance in Allegheny history.

Sarah Metzmaier, Kenyon
(Gibsonia, PA/Pine-Richland)

Kenyon sophomore Sarah Metzmaier opened the week by steering Kenyon to a 2-1 win over Denison. In that game, Metzmaier scored the game-winner in the fourth quarter and brought to an end Denison's 26-game NCAC win streak. Four days later, Metzmaier racked up three goals in Kenyon's 6-0 win at Allegheny. The sophomore forward now leads the NCAC with 12 goals, nine of which were scored in Kenyon's last five contests.

Kate Milner, DePauw

DePauw's Kate Milner played a crucial role in a 2-0 week for the Tigers in conference play. She tallied the game-winner in a 2-0 victory against Oberlin on Saturday before being involved in all three goals in a 3-1 victory against Allegheny on Sunday. The senior produced one goal and two assists against the Gators.

Charlotte Godfrey, Denison

Denison junior Charlotte Godfrey helped the Big Red to a 2-0 week in conference play. Godfrey started the week with a goal in a 2-0 victory at Ohio Wesleyan before adding a game-winner and two assists against Allegheny. The victories helped the Big Red improve to 10-3 overall, 3-1 in NCAC action.

Astrid Koek, Ohio Wesleyan
(Hulsberg, Netherlands/Erasmus)

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore defender Astrid Koek knocked in the game-winning goal against Kenyon in a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. The win moved Ohio Wesleyan into a tie for first with Kenyon in the conference standings. OWU also defeated Earlham 2-0 on Saturday. 

Kate Milner, DePauw
(St. Louis, MO/John Burroughs)

DePauw senior Kate Milner helped power a 3-2 comeback against Earlham last week, securing the Tigers' spot in the 2019 NCAC field hockey tournament. Down 2-0 in the game, Milner put DePauw on the board in the 29th minute to bring the Tigers within one. After Alexa Steil tied the game at two in the 42nd minute, Milner issued the game-winner in the 48th minute.
