MEN WOMEN
February 8th
  Trey Ike, Denison
(Horsehead, NY/The Peddle School)


Denison sophomore Trey Ike was a triple-winner in the Big Red's dual meet against Youngstown State on Saturday. He won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.09 seconds, the 100 free in 47.46 seconds and was a part of the winning 400 free relay team that touched in 3:09.40.
  Katherine Douglas, DePauw

DePauw senior Katherine Douglas broke her own school record in one-meter diving against Rose-Hulman on Saturday. Douglas compiled 445.5 points across 11 dives, placing first among four competitors.

February 15th
  Craig Klumpp, Wooster
(Delaware, OH/Rutherford B. Hayes)


Wooster senior Craig Klumpp was a triple winner in Saturday's dual-meet win against Wittenberg. Klumpp opened the meet as the breaststroke leg on Fighting Scots' 400 medley relay (3:52.42), which won the event by over 32 seconds. The senior then secured a victory in both the 1,000-yard freestyle event (11:40.90) and the 200 breaststroke (2:26.76).
  Emma Hellmann, Wittenberg
(Cincinnati, OH/Summit Country Day) 


Wittenberg senior Emma Hellmann posted two new Wittenberg diving records on Saturday in both the one- and three-meter competitions. Hellmann took first place in the one meter diving competition, posting a score of 261.50. She also shattered the three-meter record with a score of 258.50. The previous records stood since 2013 when Emily Allen posted 248 points on the one-meter board and 244.4 points on the three-meter board.    

February 22nd
  Jan Dziadek, Wabash
(Warsaw, Poland)


Wabash senior Jan Dziadek scored an individual victory and two second-place finishes at Saturday's dual meet at Rose-Hulman. He won the 100-yard butterfly with a season-best time of 51.72 and added a second-place finish in the 100 individual medley with another season-best mark of 53.67. Dziadek closed out the meet as the leadoff leg of the 4x400 freestyle relay, helping the Little Giants to a second-place finish with a season-best start of 47.87 over the first 100 yards of the race.
  Maddie Hopkins, Denison
(Chico, CA/Chico)


Denison senior Maddie Hopkins tied for the team lead with four victories while helping the Big Red to a 172-87 win over Division I Xavier on Saturday in Granville. Hopkins finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (24.36) and the 100 fly (57.55). She also swam on the winning 200 medley relay (1:47.75) and the 400 free relay (3:32.97) teams.     

March 8th
  Sam Myaard, Denison
(Hudsonville, MI/Hudsonville)


Denison first-year Sam Myaard dominated in the three-day four-session dual meet against Ohio Wesleyan. Myaard logged some serious milage, winning the 1,650 free (15:27.84), the 1,000 free (9:12.75), the 500 free (4:25.35) and the 800 free relay (6:40.90) while placing second in the 200 free (1:39.64). Myaard's time in the 1,000 free broke the Trumbull Aquatics Center record which was previously held by 2019 graduate Matthew Hedman.
  Maddie Hopkins, Denison
(Chico, CA/Chico)


Denison senior Maddie Hopkins won all eight events she competed in at the three-day, four-session meet against Ohio Wesleyan. Hopkins set new varsity records in the 50 free (22.66) and the 100 fly (53.90), while posting individual victories in the 100 free (50.08) and 50 fly (24.57). Hopkins also swam on four of Denison's five winning relays.

March 15th
  Josh Pearson, Wooster
(Cincinnati, OH/Indian Hill)


Wooster first-year Josh Pearson won all eight of his events at the season-ending Wooster End of Season Meet. Pearson broke the school record in the 400 IM (4:03.53) and set new Timken Natatorium records in the 400 IM, 500 free (4:39.67), 1,650 free (16:23.55), and as part of the 200 medley (1:35.79), 400 medley (3:30.75), and 800 free relays (7:14.33).
  Molly Likins, Wooster
(St. Clair, MI./St. Clair)


Wooster junior Molly Likins was a seven-time winner for the Fighting Scots at the Wooster End of Season Meet. On day one, Likins helped the Scots to first-place finishes in the 200 free (1:40.92), 400 medley (4:05.84), and 200 medley (1:50.16) relays, while individually she won the 50 (30.73) and 100 (1:06.86) breaststrokes and the 50 free (25.08). Likins capped the meet on Sunday by helping the Scots win the 400 free relay (3:47.76).

March 22nd
  Jan Dziadek, Wabash
(Warsaw, Poland)


Wabash senior Jan Dziadek broke three individual Class of 1950 Natatorium records and was part of one relay record in his final collegiate swimming performance over the weekend against DePauw. Dziadek broke his own pool record with a winning time in the 100-yard butterfly. He touched the wall in 48.82 to eclipse the former record of 49.06. He broke another of his own records with a first-place finish in the 100 backstroke. He completed the race in 50.30 to break his previous pool record of 50.32. Dziadek continued his assault on the pool record board by breaking his own natatorium record in the 100-yard individual medley with a winning time of 51.22, which bettered his previous record of 51.85. The Wabash foursome of Wesley SlaughterCaleb McCartyGavin Hill, and Dziadek took DePauw off the record board in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The Wabash quartet won the final event of the meet with a time of 3:05.19 to snap the pool record set by the Tigers in 2014. Wabash defeated DePauw 231-120 for the first head-to-head win by the Little Giants since 2015 and the first home victory over the Tigers since 2014.
  Katie Rozsa, Ohio Wesleyan
(Silver Lake, OH/Cuyahoga Falls)


Ohio Wesleyan junior Katie Rozsa won four events, while setting one school record, two pool records, and helping four relay teams secure wins as part of the North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Virtual Challenge. During a time trial, she clocked a 1:00.22 in the 100 IM, breaking the school record of 1:00.36 set by Tyler Mansfield in 2019 and breaking the Meek Center pool record of 1:01.01 set by Marissa Bednarek of Denison. She also set a pool record in the 200 IM, with a time of 2:11.15, breaking the mark of 2:12.55 set by Lauren Menicucci of Lake Erie College in 2012. In the relays, Rozsa and her teammates clocked in at 4:05.14 in the 400 medley, 1:51.88 in the 200 medley, 8:07.43 in the 800 freestyle and 3:43.63 in the 400 freestyle.
