November 11th
Tashauna Wright, Hiram
(Shaker Heights, OH/Shaker Heights)

 

Hiram junior Tashauna Wright posted 31 points, three rebounds and two assists in the Terriers' season-opener against Adrian. Wright was 10-of-20 from the floor, including 2-of-4 from distance. The 31 points was a career-best for the Shaker Heights, Ohio, native.

November 18th
Sydney Kopp, DePauw
(Burr Ridge, IL/Hinsdale South)

 

DePauw senior Sydney Kopp averaged 26.3 points, seven rebounds and two assists across three season-opening victories for the Tigers. In the final game of the Wisconsin-Whitewater Tip-off tournament, Kopp posted 36 points, eight rebounds and five assists in a 70-69 win against the Warhawks. She was named the most-valuable player of the tournament for her performance. 

November 25th
Zoe Soilis, Allegheny
(Sarver, PA/Freeport)

 

Allegheny senior Zoe Soilis led the Gators to a 91-82 win over Penn State Behrend with a career-high 34 points. She shot 6-of-9 from three-point range while also connecting on 10-of-19 shots from the floor. For the week, she averaged 22 points and three rebounds across three games while extending her double-digit scoring streak to five games.

December 2nd
Alison Schafer, Denison
(Columbia Station, OH/Columbia)

 

Senior Alison Schafer posted a career-high 40 points in Denison's 70-65 victory over Wittenberg on Saturday. Her 40 points were the second-most in school history behind Christi Clay's 41 points against Wittenberg on Feb. 26, 1994. Her six 3-pointers also tied the Denison single-game record which has been equaled 10 times in program history.

December 9th
Leah Maniaci, Ohio Wesleyan
(Marion, OH/Pleasant)

 

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Leah Maniaci helped the Battling Bishops to a pair of victories over Defiance and Hiram last week. Maniaci issued a 14-point, three-rebound performance against Defiance before posting a 16-point, four-rebound effort against Hiram. On the week, Maniaci went 10-of-20 (50 %) from the field and 8-of-11 (72.7%) from downtown.

December 16th
Claire Sterling, Ohio Wesleyan
(West Jefferson, OH/West Jefferson)

 

Ohio Wesleyan senior Claire Sterling hit a three-pointer that opened up a double-digit Battling Bishop lead in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 84-74 win over Wooster. She also went 4-for-4 from the free throw line during the final 30 seconds to seal the outcome, ending with 27 points, a career-high nine assists and seven rebounds.

December 23rd
Abigail Yunker, Wittenberg
(Whitehouse, OH/Anthony Wayne)

 

Wittenberg junior Abigail Yunker helped the Tigers to a pair of victories against non-conference opponents Muskingum and Franklin last week. She began the week with a career-high 21 points against the Muskies before coming back with a 10-point, nine-rebound effort against the Grizzlies. On the week, she posted 31 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. 

January 6th
Kristie Kalis, Wittenberg
(Winnetka, IL/New Trier)

 

Wittenberg junior Kristie Kalis helped the Tigers to a perfect 4-0 record last week against Wilmington, Stevenson, Hiram and Allegheny. The forward posted game-high point totals against Wilmington (16), Hiram (17) and Allegheny (19). On the week, she averaged 17 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.5 steals and one block per game.

January 13th
Zyah Beal, Denison
(Florence, KY/Boone County)

 

Denison junior Zyah Beal played a large role in the Big Red's pair of road victories last week. She began the week with 17 points and four steals against the Kenyon Ladies before issuing 10 points and eight rebounds against Ohio Wesleyan. On the week, she was 11-of-21 from the floor (52.4%) and 5-of-6 from the free throw line (83.3%).

January 20th
Sydney Kopp, DePauw
(Burr Ridge, IL/Hinsdale South)

 

DePauw senior Sydney Kopp finished with a school-record 42 points as DePauw won its 12th straight game with a 73-53 NCAC victory at Ohio Wesleyan. The 42-point performance was also a Branch Rickey Arena record. On the week, Kopp averaged 30 points, 8.5 rebounds and one steal across a pair of games.  

January 27th

Hiram junior guard Tashauna Wright logged all 90 minutes of the Terriers wins last week against Kenyon and Wooster, including a double-overtime thriller against the Ladies. Wright posted 34 points, seven rebounds and two assists in an 81-78 win against Kenyon, before registering 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a 76-63 victory over Wooster.

February 3rd
Maria Janasko, Wooster
(Sheffield Lake, OH/Lake Ridge Academy)

 

Wooster junior Maria Janasko scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Fighting Scots to an 84-79 win against Allegheny. Janasko scored the first nine points for the Scots and was 10-of-14 from the field and 9-of-13 from the foul line. She also tied for a game-high eight rebounds. 

February 10th
Sydney Kopp, DePauw
(Burr Ridge, IL/Hinsdale South)

 

DePauw senior Sydney Kopp became the program's all-time leading scorer in the Tiger's narrow 65-62 victory over Hiram. The win also clinched at least a share of the NCAC women's basketball title. Kopp produced games of 22 and 26 points, coupled with an average of nine rebounds and three assists in two conference wins last week.

February 17th
Rylee Donovan, Allegheny
(Glenshaw, PA/Shaler Area)

 

Allegheny junior Rylee Donovan helped power the Gators to a pair of victories over Oberlin and Denison last week. Donovan issued 24 points, while posting eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 67-57 win at Oberlin. She also recorded 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists in a 54-43 victory over Denison.  

February 24th
Julianna Skowron, Allegheny
(Sewickley, PA/Oakland Catholic)

 

Allegheny junior Julianna Skowron posted back-to-back 23-point performances to lead the Gators to wins over Hiram and Kenyon last week. Skowron began the week with 23 points, eight rebounds, and three assists against the Terriers, before notching 23 points, 17 rebounds and one assist against the Ladies.
