2022 NCAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

February 21st
Bria Randolph, DePauw
(Baltimore, MD/Friends School of Baltimore)


DePauw junior Bria Randolph played a part in six of the team's 11 goals in a season-opening win against Carthage. Randolph netted two goals and set up four other scores in the victory.

February 28th
Caroline O'Neil, Kenyon
(Ponte Vedra, FL/Ponte Vedra)


Kenyon junior Caroline O'Neil helped the Ladies to a pair of victories over Otterbein and John Carroll last week. In a 9-8 win against the Blue Streaks, O'Neil tallied five goals and assisted another score, while adding three ground balls and one draw control. On the week, O'Neil tallied nine goals, one assist, six ground balls and one draw control.
March 7th
Hannah Shaw, Wooster
(Menlo Park, CA/Menlo-Atherton)


Wooster junior Hannah Shaw recorded 23 draw controls, five goals, one assist, two groundballs and two caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Fighting Scots. In a win over Indiana Tech on Saturday, the junior tracked down 15 draw controls which is believed to be Wooster's single-game program record and is the third-most in a Division III game this spring.
March 14th
Nicole Klabus, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Nicole Klabus helped the Battling Bishops improve to 5-0 after three victories last week, the team's longest season-opening winning streak since 2006. Klabus tallied 11 goals across the three games, while picking up four ground balls, winning three draw controls and causing two turnovers.

Nicole Klabus, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Nicole Klabus helped the Battling Bishops to a pair of victories against Otterbein and Baldwin Wallace last week. In two games, Klabus tallied 11 goals which included tying the school record with nine goals in a 13-10 win against the Yellow Jackets. She also secured three draw controls, picked up one ground ball and caused one turnover in the pair of victories.
March 28th
Maddie Garner, Kenyon
(Vienna, VA/James Madison)


Kenyon sophomore Maddie Garner helped the Ladies ring up wins over Mount Union and previously unbeaten Allegheny. She tallied three goals and two assists against the Raiders while adding three more goals and an assist against the Gators, giving her a weekly total of nine points on six goals and three assists. She also won 12 draws, scooped up seven ground balls and forced one turnover.
April 4th
Emma Kennedy, DePauw
(Indianapolis, IN/Bishop Chatard)


DePauw senior Emma Kennedy powered the Tigers to three victories on the west coast against Cal Lutheran, Redlands and Whittier. On the week, the senior compiled 13 goals and three assists while also adding 23 draw controls, eight ground balls and causing two turnovers. Against the Poets, Kennedy posted six goals, five ground balls and a career-high 12 draw controls for the Tigers.
April 11th

Nola Garand, Kenyon
(Southborough, MA/Algonquin Regional)


Kenyon freshman Nola Garand and the Ladies defense held the Denison Big Red to just one first-half goal on Saturday in an 8-6 victory. Garand made seven saves in the first 30 minutes of action and finished the game with eight saves overall. The win was the Ladies first against Denison since 2013 and snapped the Big Red's 45-game regular-season conference winning streak that dated back to 2015.

April 18th
Casey McTague, Denison
(Arlington, VA/Stone Ridge)


Denison senior Casey McTague started the week by tying the Big Red's single-game goals record with nine goals at Wittenberg, matching the record originally set by Lauren Peace on April 12, 2000. McTague then added a hat trick against Oberlin to finish her week with 12 total goals. She also had eight draw controls, seven groundballs and two caused turnovers on the week.
April 25th
Syd Schuster, Wooster
(Ann Arbor, MI/Skyline)


Wooster senior Syd Schuster broke the program's single-game record with nine goals in Wednesday's win over Allegheny. The midfielder followed that performance up with a seven-point afternoon in a win over Baldwin Wallace on Saturday. Schuster compiled 13 goals, eight draw controls, four assists, and four groundballs during a 2-0 week for the Fighting Scots.
May 2nd

Emma Kennedy, DePauw

DePauw senior Emma Kennedy set the Tigers single-game program record scoring 10 goals at Wittenberg last week. The win also helped DePauw secure a spot in the NCAC tournament.
