2020 NCAC Women's Tennis Players of the Week

February 3rd  
Anna Winslow, Kenyon
(Sunrise, FL/South Plantation)


Kenyon sophomore Anna Winslow started her spring season with the most dominant of singles victories (6-0, 6-0) among the Ladies roster as No. 14 Kenyon blanked University of Northwestern Ohio 7-0 on Feb. 1. She also paired with teammate Ilana Blackwood to help Kenyon earn a doubles point (6-4) against the Racers.
February 10th  
Isabelle Olaes, Oberlin
(Oberlin, OH/Oberlin)


Oberlin first-year Isabelle Olaes turned in a perfect 4-0 Saturday in pair of convincing Yeowomen wins over Baldwin Wallace and Notre Dame College. Playing in the second flight in both singles and doubles against the Yellow Jackets, Olaes was a 6-2, 6-1 winner in singles and partnered with Delaney Black in doubles to win 8-1. She and Black won by the same count in the top flight against the Falcons before the freshman moved on to take a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Kaytlin Marlatt at No. 3 singles.
February 17th  
Amanda Showalter, DePauw
(Centerville, OH/Archbishop Alter)


DePauw's Amanda Showalter secured four wins in the Tigers' victories over John Carroll and Wooster last week. In No. 1 singles, the junior issued victories over John Carroll's Megan Reese (6-4, 6-2) and Wooster's Qingyue Li (6-0, 6-0). She also got victories in No. 2 doubles over the Blue Streaks (8-2) and the Fighting Scots (8-1).

February 24th  
Shannon Sertz, Wooster
(Fairview, PA/Fairview) 


Wooster's Shannon Sertz produced No. 3 singles (1-6, 6-1, 6-2) and No. 2 doubles victories (8-4) to help the Fighting Scots to a 5-4 win over Kalamazoo on Saturday. Sertz improved to 5-1 in singles action and 6-2 in doubles play this season.

March 2nd 
Alex Cash, Denison
(New Albany, OH/New Albany)


Denison's Alex Cash helped the Big Red defeat Wooster on Friday. The junior recorded a 6-3, 6-0, decision in No. 1 singles over Qingyue Li, while helping win 8-2 in No. 1 doubles over the Fighting Scots. 

March 9th  
Hannah Cianciola, Denison
(Canfield, OH/Canfield)  


Denison junior Hannah Cianciola notched four victories in the Big Red's victories over No. 28-ranked Hope (W, 5-4) and Kalamazoo (W, 9-0). She registered singles victories over Hope's Sydney Jackson (6-2, 6-1) and Kalamazoo's Helen Pelak (6-1, 6-0) while also notching doubles victories over the Flying Dutch (8-7 (10-7)) and Hornets (8-1).

March 16th  
Erika Oku, Kenyon
(Hinsdale, IL/Hinsdale Central) 


Kenyon junior Erika Oku notched a team-high eight victories - three singles, five doubles - as the Ladies had a strong showing in Orlando last week by going 4-1. With a shortened season, Oku finished with a 12-4 singles record and 13-4 doubles mark over the course of the last six months.
