Maura Gibbs, Oberlin

Senior Maura Gibbs helped the Yeowomen get off to a 3-1 start at the St. Vincent College Bearcat Challenge as she earned all-tournament team laurels. Gibbs did a little bit of everything for the Yeowomen, totaling 44 kills and 49 digs over the 12 total sets she played. The Wallingford, PA, product dropped in six aces while averaging  3.67 kills and 4.08 digs per set.

Lindsey Walker, Hiram
(Akron, OH/St. Vincent St. Mary)

Hiram junior Lindsey Walker helped the Terriers to a 4-0 week, including three wins at the NCAC/MIAA Challenge. She dished out a season-high 18 kills against Alma, rounding out the week with 50 kills (3.13 per set), 44 digs (2.75 per set) and five blocks (0.31 per set).

Kayla Cole, Hiram
(Louisville, OH/Louisville)

Hiram junior Kayla Cole notched three double-doubles on the week for the Terriers. Cole began the week with a 14-kill, 12-dig performance in a three-setter against Thiel before collecting 16 kills and 16 digs in four sets against Baldwin Wallace. She finished the week with 18 kills and 10 digs in three sets against Wooster. On the week, she averaged 4.36 kills, 3.45 digs and a .303 hitting percentage. 

Lucy Anderson, Denison
(Bloomington, IN/Bloomington)

Denison freshman middle hitter Lucy Anderson helped the Big Red to a perfect 3-0 week, not dropping a single set in the three matches. On the week, Anderson collected 21 kills, eight blocks, seven digs, five aces and owned a .404 hitting percentage in eight sets. The freshman averaged 3.9 points per set.

Morgan Stearley, DePauw
(Center Point, IN/Northview) 

DePauw senior Morgan Stearley posted two double-doubles against Rose-Hulman and Hiram last week as the Tigers went a perfect 3-0 on the week. Stearley notched 55 kills, 32 digs and a .350 hitting percentage in 10 sets for the Tigers. The senior averaged six points, 5.5 kills and 3.2 digs per set, while also adding five blocks and two service aces.

Emma Woerner, Denison
(Novato, CA/Novato) 

Denison junior Emma Woerner helped the Big Red to a pair of sweeps over DePauw and Hiram last week. Woerner posted 23 kills (3.83 k/s), 19 digs (3.17 d/s) and a .339 hitting percentage over six sets. Saturday's victory against Hiram moved the Denison winning streak to nine games on the year, which is the longest win streak since 2001 when DU went 21-12 and reached the NCAC Tournament Championship game.

Jordan Brandt, Ohio Wesleyan
(Vail, CO/Battle Mountain)

Ohio Wesleyan senior Jordan Brandt led the Bishops to a pair of victories last week against Hiram and Hanover. The outside hitter accumulated 73 points (5.2 p/s), 60 kills (4.29 k/s), 13 digs (0.93 d/s), nine service aces (0.64 a/s), seven blocks (0.50 b/s) and a .275 hitting percentage across 14 sets. 

Morgan Stearley, DePauw
(Center Point, IN/Northview)

DePauw senior Morgan Stearley was instrumental in the Tigers 2-0 week. Stearley began with a double-double against Kenyon, producing 18 kills and 11 digs before adding another 11 kills in a sweep over Oberlin. On the week, the right-side hitter compiled 29 kills (4.83 k/s), 13 digs (2.17 d/s) and a .436 hitting percentage.

Jordan Brandt, Ohio Wesleyan
(Vail, CO/Battle Mountain)

Ohio Wesleyan senior Jordan Brandt helped the Bishops to a pair of victories over DePauw and Case Western last week. Brandt issued 16 kills against the Tigers before handing out 28 against Case Western. On the week, Brandt compiled 49.5 points (6.2 p/s), 44 kills (5.5 k/s), seven digs (0.88 d/s) and a .372 hitting percentage.  

Hayley Nash, Wooster
(Peoria, AZ/Xavier College Prep)

Wooster first-year Hayley Nash averaged 4.27 kills and 2.55 digs per set during a 2-1 week for the Scots. Nash was instrumental in helping Wooster secure its highest NCAC finish since 2012 (tied for fifth) with a match-high 15 kills versus Allegheny. The rookie had a pair of double-doubles during Saturday's tri-match at Case Western Reserve, and her 285 kills are the sixth-most in program history for the current scoring era.
