Kenyon freshman Eleni Lazaridou and the Owls opened the spring schedule with a 6-1 win at NAIA University of Northwestern Ohio on Saturday. Playing in the No. 1 singles position, Lazaridou produced a 6-3, 6-1 win over Ana Cetina. Prior to that, she paired with junior Eleni Dakos (Towaco, NJ/Newark Academy) to record a 6-1 doubles win against Cetina and Jelena Lopicic.

Kenyon junior Eleni Dakos chalked up two straight-set wins in a 9-0 sweep over Kalamazoo, a dual in which the Owls did not drop a single set. Dakos and teammate Eleni Lazaridou (Veroia, Greece/4th Lyceum of Veria) won a hard-fought 8-5 decision in the No. 1 doubles match to open the team's dominant performance. The junior then clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-2 victory in No. 4 singles.

Wooster sophomore Janaki Jagannathan captured a pair of wins in the team's 7-2 win over John Carroll. Jagannathan teamed with Otilia Oita (North Olmsted, OH/North Olmsted) in no. 1 doubles for an 8-1 win. The sophomore then captured a 6-3, 6-4 win at the no. 2 singles position.

Oberlin sophomore Anna Pastore played a large role in the Yeowomen's 2-0 sweep of Hope and Kalamazoo last week. Pastore went a perfect 4-0 with a pair of doubles victories with Marta Laska (Minsk, Belarus/Gymnasium No. 32 Minsk) in the top-flight before winning twice at No. 2 singles. In doubles, Pastore and Laska earned an 8-7 (7-3) win over Hope and an 8-2 victory over Kalamazoo. In singles play, she recorded her second and third wins of the season, posting a 7-5, 6-2 win over Hope and a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Kalamazoo.

Denison sophomore Elizabeth Hoo was a combined 4-1 on the week with wins in both singles and doubles action against DePauw and No. 38 Gustavus Adolphus on Sunday. In a 9-0 victory over the Tigers in the team's NCAC opener, Hoo won in comeback fashion in three sets (3-6, 6-2, 6-1) at No. 5 singles, while she and her partner Peyton Oda (Elk Grove Village, IL/Elk Grove) earned an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles. Later in the day in a 6-3 win over the Gusties, Hoo clinched the match with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles, while she and Oda won 8-2 at No. 3 doubles. Her only loss on the week was at No. 6 singles (6-4, 6-1) against No. 18 WashU on Saturday.

DePauw sophomore Ellen Gardner and junior Kat Wilder recorded an 8-7 victory at no. 2 doubles against North Central College. The tandem handed Kensington Payne and Nina Patience their first doubles loss of the season.

Kenyon first-year Eleni Lazaridou compiled a 4-0 record as Kenyon's no. 1 singles player and a 3-1 record at No. 1 doubles to help the Owls collect a 3-1 mark to start spring break. Lazaridou's week was highlighted by a three-set victory over No. 11 Carnegie Mellon's Sarah Yang, 6-4, 6-7 (3-7), 1-0 (10-8). The rookie's other three singles victories were in straight sets, as she did not concede more than one game in any set.

Wooster sophomore Janaki Jagannathan went 4-0 on the week with two wins at no. 1 doubles and two wins at no. 2 singles. In a 9-0 victory over Edgewood, Jagannathan and junior Otilia Oita (North Olmsted, OH/North Olmsted) collected an 8-4 win in doubles, before Jagannathan recorded a 6-1, 6-1 victory in singles. Then in a 5-4 win over Washington, Jagannathan clinched the match with a 7-6 (2), 6-3 win in singles, while she and Oita also recorded an 8-5 victory in doubles.

Ohio Wesleyan first-year Riley Brokaw went 4-0 on the week. In a 7-2 win at Marietta, Brokaw and classmate Maisie Dugger (Dover, OH/Dover) recorded an 8-6 win at no. 3 doubles and then Brokaw blanked Pioneer opponent, 6-0, 6-0, at no. 5 singles. In a 6-3 win over Franciscan, Brokaw and Dugger recorded an 8-1 win at no. 3 doubles and then Brokaw came from behind to win at no. 5 singles, posting a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (14-12) decision.

In a 6-3 win over John Carroll, she won 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) in singles, while she and Marta Lakska (Minsk, Belarus/Gymnasium No. 32 Minsk) were 8-3 winners in doubles. Pastore would then clinch the match in a 5-4 NCAC victory over Wooster, as she outlasted two tie-breakers to win 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 7-6 (7-5) in singles and then teamed with Laska, they collected an 8-6 victory in doubles.

Wittenberg sophomore Caroline Sproule helped lead the Tigers to a 5-4 victory over DePauw, the teams first win over the Tigers in program history. Paired with teammate Ashley Isaac (Loomis, CA/Del Oro), the duo captured Wittenberg's only doubles win, 8-6 at the no. 1 position. Then in a tough three-set thriller at no. 2 singles, Sproule clinched the match for her team with a 6-1, 5-7, 6-1 victory.

Kenyon freshman Shadia Amado Aguad helped the Owls clinch the 2023 NCAC crown, going 4-0 over a pair of wins. In a 6-3 upset on the road against No. 22-ranked Denison, the first-year paired with Eleni Dakos (Towaco, NJ/Newark Academy) for a gritty 8-7 (7-5) no. 2 doubles win before taking the no. 3 singles match 6-2, 6-3. Against DePauw, she and Lalasa Nagireddy (Dublin, OH/Dublin Jerome) battled for an 8-7 (7-4) no. 2 doubles win before Amado Aguad cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 victory at no. 3 singles to help the Owls clinch the conference title.
