Dan Ambrose became the DePauw head men's lacrosse coach in the August of 2016.
Career Highlights

- In his first year at DePauw, he guided the Tigers to an 8-6 overall record, the first winning season since the program's start in 2013
- Worked with the Catholic University of America Cardinals as the associate head men's lacrosse coach and offensive coordinator from 2004-1016
- Catholic captured the 2015 and 2016 Landmark Conference championships and participated in the NCAA Division III postseason
- In 2016 the Cardinals moved from 101st in the national rankings to 48th
- The Cardinals ranked 11th in the nation in man-up offense at 45.7 percent
- Since 2011, Ambrose also served as Assistant Athletic Director of Business at Catholic
- Responsible for the management and financial operation of 21 NCAA Division III sports and nine university club sports
- Served as program coordinator and coach from 2007-12 for MadLax, which was consistently ranked in the top 10 in the nation by Inside Lacrosse Magazine
- Has also held positions with Mobil Oil, A.O. Smith Water Products Co., and National Wholesale Supply, Inc.

- Graduated from Summit High School and played for the N.J. state champion Summit Hilltoppers
- Played midfield at the University of Delaware
- Earned his Bachelor's degree in biology and Spanish from the University of Nebraska
- Earned his MBA from the University of Texas-Dallas
