Wooster junior Mary Sirois logged times of 15.79 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles and 1:14.17 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. Sirois' 100 hurdles time ranked sixth at the meet and is inside the top-30 nationally for this spring.

Athena Tharenos, Wooster

Wooster junior Athena Tharenos recorded a top-20 time nationally in the 800-meter run, crossing the line in 2:22.38 at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. Tharenos placed sixth in the seeded event, then helped the Fighting Scots claim an eighth-place finish in the 4x400 relay in a time of 4:12.05.

Ainsley Wiesner, Wooster

Wooster junior Ainsley Wiesner broke the program's school record in the hammer throw at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational. Wiesner, who continuously broke the program's weight throw record during indoor season, reached 136' 2" in the hammer throw last week. She also had a collegiate-best in the discus at 97' 10".

Sophia Ellerkmann, Denison

Denison junior Sophia Ellerkmann earned a sixth-place finish with a personal-best time of 1:00.00 in the 400 meter dash at the Emory Thrills in the Hills Open. Her time in the 400 is ranked first in the NCAC and 36th in Division III. Ellerkmann also ran the first leg of the Big Red's 4x400 meter relay team that finished in fifth place with a time of 4:08.47, which is a top time in the NCAC and 25th in DIII.

Erin Anderson, Denison

Denison senior Erin Anderson earned a sixth-place finish with a time of 2:18.01 in the 800-meter run and helped Denison come in fifth place with a time of 4:08.47 in the 4x400 meter relay at the Emory Thrills in the Hills Open. Her time in the 800 is ranked first in the NCAC and 15th in Division III, while the Big Red's time in the 4x400 is also first in the NCAC and 25th in DIII.

Ari McPheters, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan senior Ari McPheters won the shot put event at Muskingum's Amy Adams Memorial Invitational. The seniors recorded a throw of 43' 5.25", which was nearly three feet further than the runner-up. McPheters' throw is tops in the NCAC and ranks second in all of Division III.

Denison junior Caliyah Bennett won the 100-meter hurdles with a personal record time of 15.51 seconds at the Centre Invite, which ranks first in the NCAC and 50th in Division III. She also ran the first leg of Denison's third-place 4x100-meter relay team (50.29 seconds) and was 10th in the 100-meter dash at 13.11 seconds.

Sydney Khosla, Wittenberg

Wittenberg junior Sydney Khosla set a new school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the WashU Distance Carnival. Khosla crossed the line in 10:56.99, which ranks ninth nationally and first in the conference so far this season.

Evie Sanford, Wooster

Wooster first-year Evie Sanford broke the program record in the discus for the Fighting Scots this weekend at the Bob Kahn Invitational hosted by Oberlin College. She posted a career- and program-best mark of 132’ 2.00” in the discus throw, moving all the way up from seventh all-time. Sanford was the runner-up in the event at the meet. Her discus throw currently ranks 20th in the nation. Sanford was also the top performer for Wooster in the shot put, placing fourth with a throw of 36’ 0.25”. |

Meghan Frazier, Wittenberg

Wittenberg sophomore Meghan Frazier was a double winner at the Marv Frye Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan. In the 100-meter dash, Frazier crossed the line in 12.45 seconds, which currently leads the conference. She also anchored the winning 4x100 relay as the quartet finished in a time of 48.82.

Wooster junior Athena Tharenos made quick work of the three-person field at the Oberlin Dual to win the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 11:16.14. Tharenos now holds the second-fastest time in the conference and is ranked no. 23 in all of Division III.

Julissa Williams, Wittenberg

Wittenberg sophomore Julissa Williams collected the win in the high jump at the Marv Frye Invitational. Williams recorded a height of 1.60 meters for the win, which is currently tied for both the best height in the conference and the no. 26 spot in all of DIII.

Anaya Jolivette, Denison

Denison sophomore Anaya Jolivette won both the 100-meter dash (12.19) and the 200-meter dash (25.24) at the All-Ohio Championship meet. Both times were new personal records for Jolivette and now rank third all-time in program history for outdoor track & field. In addition, her time in the 100 is ranked no. 1 in the NCAC and no. 35 in Division III, while her time in the 200 is tied for first in the conference and is tied for 43rd nationally. In the final event of the day, Jolivette helped Denison win the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:07.28, which is ranked second in the NCAC. She also helped the Big Red to a sixth-place finish in the 4x100 meter relay (50.40). Earlier in the week during Denison's annual dual meet vs. Wooster, Jolivette won the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.70 seconds. |
Eleanor Luttman, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Eleanor Luttman won the 10,000-meter run at the All-Ohio Championship meet. Luttman broke the tape in 42:53.17 to become the first Ohio Wesleyan woman to win a distance event at the All-Ohio championship since 2017, when Sarah Fowler won the 5000-meter run. The sophomore’s time ranks fourth in the NCAC this season.

Khloe Dubenion, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan senior Khloe Dubenion won the hammer throw at the All-Ohio Championship meet. Dubenion’s toss of (172’ 8.00) 52.64 meters bettered the second-place finisher by more than nine feet which set an OWU record, obliterating the previous mark (169’ 3.00) by more than three feet. The senior’s performance leads the NCAC by a margin of more than 12 feet and ranks 13th in Division III so far this season.

Denison junior Sophia Ellerkmann recorded a new personal time in the 400-meter dash at the Ohio State University Jesse Owens Classic on Saturday. Ellerkmann clocked in at 58.56 seconds, which currently ranks no. 1 in the NCAC so far this season.

Sage Reddish, Oberlin

Oberlin sophomore Sage Reddish turned in a career-best performance in the 800-meter run at the Sparky Adams Invitational to finish third in the event out of 41 runners. Reddish clocked in with a conference-leading time of 2:16.79 and also ran anchor on the 4x400 relay unit that placed second out of eight teams with a time of 4:12.69, which ranks sixth in the league.

Paula Soric, Kenyon

Kenyon sophomore Paula Soric played a significant role as the Owls placed first at the inaugural Duane Gomez Invitational, contributing 18 team points. In her outdoor season debut, the reigning NCAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year rewrote the Kenyon record book in the triple jump. She leapt 11.70 meters to pace the field and break her own program record of 11.48 meters set last year. Additionally, Soric's mark broke the Wilder Track record of 11.69 meters set by Denison's Aedin Brennan in 2015. Soric also ran a leg on Kenyon's second-place 4x100-meter relay team that stopped the clock at 52.14.

Wittenberg sophomore Meghan Frazier won the 100-meter dash at the Ashland Alumni Open. Frazier turned in a time of 12.16 seconds, which currently leads the conference, ranks 41st nationally and set a new school record. The sophomore also anchored the women’s 4x100 relay to a fourth-place finish in a time of 48.56.

Ohio Wesleyan freshman McKenna Downing won the 800-meter run in 2:22.18 at the Big Red Invitational, which is the seventh-fastest time in the NCAC this season. Downing also led off the Bishops' first-place 4x400 relay, which won in 4:31.43.

Hayden Hill, Oberlin

Oberlin junior Hayden Hill won the heptathlon at the NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Combined Events Championships with 3,757 points. Hill claimed the heptathlon victory after placing first in the shot put (9.80m; 32' 2.00"), 200-meter dash (26.85) and the 800-meter run (2:30.47), while also recording a runner-up finish in the 100-meter hurdles (17.02), a fourth-place finish in the high jump (1.43m; 4' 8.25"), a fifth-place showing in the long jump (4.59m; 15' 0.75") and a sixth-place finish in the javelin throw (17.42m; 57' 02"). |
