Daniel Bickett began his duties as the Wabash head tennis coach in July 2019.

Bickett earned NCAC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year honors in 2023 after guiding his Little Giant team to a 14-9 overall record and a 3-4 mark in confererence matches. Wabash recorded its first winning season since 2018 and the most wins since 2016. The Little Giants won three conference matches during the regular season and qualified for the conference tournament as the fifth seed. The Little Giants advanced to the tournament's semifinal round for the first time since 2011 after defeating Oberlin 5-4 in the quarterfinals. Cole Shifferly, Alvaro Alonso-Sanchez, and Ethan Koeneman earned spots on the 2023 All-NCAC Team.

His 2021 team posted four victories with Liam Grennon and Cole Borden earning West Division All-NCAC honors as a doubles team. Borden was also an All-NCAC singles selection. Wabash posted a 6-13 overall record in 2022 with junior Alvaro Alonso-Sanchez receiving All-NCAC Honorable Mention honors for singles play.

Bickett, a 12-year coaching veteran, earned Division III National Assistant Coach of the Year honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in 2010 and again in 2013 as an assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He worked with both the men's and women's programs at Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Warhawks women's team claimed six consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles and posted 46 consecutive victories in conference matches while also earning six NCAA Team Tournament appearances.

Bickett spent the 2018 season as the assistant women's tennis coach at the University of Houston, helping the Cougars finish 20-4. He served as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin for the Badgers men's team which earned its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2010 before taking the position at Houston. Bickett was the head tennis coach at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for the 2015-16 season, leading the men's team to a second-place finish in the Horizon League. He coached at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh for the 2014-15 season.
 
Bickett graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor's degree in finance in 2010. He earned a master's degree from Whitewater in 2012.
