PRIOR TO DEPAUW
- Served as head men's basketball coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology since 2014
- In eight seasons as the head coach at Rose-Hulman, Loyd led the Fightin' Engineers to a 120-78 overall record and an 82-43 mark in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
- Named the HCAC Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2021
- Rose-Hulman teams appeared in the HCAC Tournament championship game three times
- Directed Rose-Hulman to the HCAC regular season conference title in 2018 while tying for second in 2019 and 2022
- Named to the Silver Waves Media list of 50 Impactful Head Coaches in NCAA Division III men's basketball in 2020 and 2022
- Prior to his selection as the head coach, he was the assistant men's basketball coach and head men's golf coach at Rose-Hulman for five seasons.
- Started his coaching career as an assistant at Earlham College for two seasons before moving on to a two-year stint at Lewis University and four years at his alma mater. His first head coaching position came in June 2006 when he was chosen to direct the program at Illinois Institute of Technology where he stayed until 2009.
COLLEGE CAREER
- Graduated from University of Chicago in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
- As a player with the Maroons, he helped lead the team to a 76-29 four-year record, while starting three years and serving as a captain
- During his junior and senior seasons, Chicago posted a 47-8 record and earned spots in the NCAA Division III round of 16 both years
- He was a three-time all-University Athletic Association selection in addition to earning two all-region honors and all-America accolades as a senior
- In 2018, Loyd was selected to the UAA 30th anniversary team.

- Loyd and his wife Kristen are parents to three children, Mia, Mason and Maren

Kris Huffman was named the head women's basketball coach at DePauw in June, 1993, and has since compiled a 721-148 record in 31 seasons through the 2023-24 season.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Led DePauw to NCAA Division III championships in 2007 and 2013, a semifinal appearance in 2002 and quarterfinal trips in 2006 and 2008
- Program has Division III's longest string of consecutive appearances in the women's basketball postseason with 18
- Her 680 wins rank 19th among women's basketball coaches on all NCAA levels and fifth in Division III
- Since the beginning of the 1995-96 season, the Tigers have posted a 658-106 record for an .861 winning percentage with the wins and percentage ranking second in Division III during that time
- Team has posted 27 straight winning seasons with no less than a .731 winning percentage in those years
- Her teams have posted a 370-37 record in conference games
- Team is 34-20 in NCAA postseason games during her tenure
- In achieving 600 wins in 722 games, she did so in the fifth-fewest total games in the history of all levels of NCAA women's basketball play

- In June 2008, Huffman served as a court coach for the 2008 USA Basketball Women's U18 National Team Trials in Colorado Springs, Colo.
- Serves as assistant athletics director and has served on the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship national committee
- Served on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Board of Directors
PRIOR TO DEPAUW
- Prior to coming to DePauw, served as an assistant coach at Wartburg College where she helped them to four straight appearances in the Division III tournament.
- Fort Dodge, Iowa, native was named Miss Basketball in Iowa following her senior year in high school when she led her team to a state championship. She then moved on to Division I Northern Iowa where she played basketball and earned a bachelor's degree in community health education.
- She still is the Panthers' career three-point record holder with a .483 percentage, is third with an .817 career free throw percentage and recorded the only triple-double in school history with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against Eastern Illinois on January 31, 1986. Huffman finished as the second all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,294 points and still ranks sixth. Her 322 career assists still rank fifth.
- She remained at UNI and received a master's degree in health education. Huffman is also an Iowa Women's Basketball Hall of Fame inductee.
