TOURNAMENT NOTES:  The tournament winner receives the NCAC’s automatic bid into the NCAA tournament ... Wooster is the defending tournament champion, while Denison leads the way with 15 titles all-time. The Big Red won every NCAC women's lacrosse championship from 1985-1994, with Oberlin breaking the Big Red's streak by claiming the crown in three of the next four seasons. The Yeowomen were interrupted only by a Denison title in 1996. From 1999 through 2001, the Big Red again claimed top honors, followed by Wooster, which earned the first of six championships it would take between 2002 and 2010. In the past five years, Wooster has won three tournament championships (2007, 2009 and 2010), while Denison (2006) and Ohio Wesleyan (2008) each have one title.
