Baseball Player of the Week – Ryan Kramer, Wooster
Wooster first-year first baseman Ryan Kramer (Chicago, IL/Latin School of Chicago) posted a .533 batting average (8-for-15) during a 4-1 week for the Fighting Scots that included NCAC sweeps over Ohio Wesleyan and DePauw. Kramer had a team-leading 10 Runs Batted In during the stretch, drew seven walks, scored four times, and had a home run and double. The rookie went 2-for-4 in the doubleheader against the Battling Bishops with four RBI and three scored runs. Then in the twin bill with the Tigers, Kramer went 4-for-8 with five RBI and one scored run.
 
Baseball Pitcher of the Week – Michael Osmond, Wittenberg
Wittenberg graduate student Michael Osmond (Powell, OH/Olentangy Liberty) secured his fifth win of the season, improving to 5-0, as the Tigers earned a 14-1 win over Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday. The southpaw threw six innings, allowing just two hits, one walk and one earned run, while striking out eight.
 
Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week – James Gilmore, DePauw
DePauw senior James Gilmore (Verona, WI/Edgewood) led the Tigers, tying for eighth among 104 golfers at Millikin's Take Back the Night Challenge. Gilmore shot a 145 (76-69) for a two-over par. His round of 69 tied for the best in the tournament and was the only sub-70 round in Saturday's second round.
 
Women’s Golf Athlete of the Week – Sydney Weiner, DePauw
DePauw junior Sydney Weiner (Crown Point, IN/Crown Point) finished 11th among 52 golfers at Millikin's Take Back the Night Challenge. Weiner shot a 163 (81-82), while playing as an individual.
 
Men’s Lacrosse Athlete of the Week – Kody Gould, Wittenberg
Wittenberg junior Kody Gould (Fairport, NY/Fairport) netted a team-high six goals in the Tiger’s 16-13 victory at Wooster. Gould added one ground ball in the three-goal victory and added a caused turnover in an 11-10 win over Wabash.
 
Women’s Lacrosse Athlete of the Week – Caroline O’Neil, Kenyon
Kenyon senior Caroline O'Neil (Ponte Vedra, FL/Ponte Vedra) directed the Owls to a pair of important conference wins last week, as Kenyon claimed a 20-8 home win against Wooster and a 13-12 overtime win at Denison in a battle of the top teams in the conference. In two games, O'Neil produced a team-high nine points on a team-high seven goals and a pair of assists. She netted four goals and scooped up one ground ball against Wooster. At Denison, she netted three goals and dished two assists. With less than five minutes to play against the Big Red, O'Neil served up an assist and then scored to even out the game in regulation. She leads her Kenyon teammates, and all conference players, with 57 points on the season.
 
Softball Player of the Week – Katie Mathies, DePauw
DePauw sophomore Katie Mathies (Shelbyville, IN/Shelbyville) went 5-for-12 (.417) with nine RBI and two scored runs during a 3-1 week of conference action for the Tigers. In a doubleheader sweep with Wittenberg, Mathies went 2-for-4 with five RBI and one scored run to go along with a grand slam in the first inning of game two. Then in a twin-bill split with Hiram, the sophomore went 3-for-7 with four RBI and one scored run.
 
Softball Pitcher of the Week – Darian Kanno, Hiram
Hiram sophomore Darian Kanno (Mililani, HI/Mid-Pacific Institute) went 2-1 on the week, allowing just four earned runs over 21.1 innings pitched, while striking out 24. In an 8-1 victory over Oberlin, Kanno threw seven innings, allowing just three hits and striking out five. Then in a win over DePauw, she recorded five strikeouts, scattered seven hits and allowed four earned runs to collect a 5-4 victory. In a tough 2-1 loss to Westminster, she threw six innings, allowed two hits and struck out 10 batters. In the one-run loss, Kanno became the second pitcher in Hiram program history to have multiple career games with double-digit strikeouts.
 
Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week – Thomas Partridge, DePauw
DePauw senior Thomas Partridge (North York, Ontario, Canada/Royal St. Georges College) won both his singles and doubles matches against Ohio Wesleyan on Tuesday. At no.1 doubles with Ryan McCook (St. Albans, NY/University of Nebraska High School) the pair won 8-2. Then in the no. 1 singles flight, Partridge won 6-2, 6-4.
 
Men's Outdoor Track Sprint/Hurdles Athlete of the Week – Grayson Ring, Wittenberg
Wittenberg freshman Grayson Ring (Tipp City, OH/Tippecanoe) collected a win and runner-up finish at the Duane Gomez Invitational hosted by Kenyon. Ring won the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.55 and took second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.17.
 
Men’s Outdoor Track Distance/Mid-Distance Athlete of the Week – Brayden Curnutt, Wabash
Wabash sophomore Brayden Curnutt (Kokomo, IN/Western) posted two individual victories at the Rose-Hulman Twilight Invitational Friday evening. Curnutt won the 1500-meter run with a career-best time of 3:55.97, the fastest time of the season by an NCAC men's runner. The sophomore added a victory in the 3,000-meter run with a personal-best time of 8:31.67.
 
Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week – Riley Orth, Kenyon
Kenyon junior Riley Orth (Cincinnati, OH/Anderson) had a big day in the throwing pit at Saturday’s inaugural Duane Gomez Invitational. Orth's day started with a first-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 14.69 meters to top the field of 17. He then launched the discus 41.55 meters for a third-place finish. Finally, Orth wrapped up his day with a Kenyon record of 43.98 meters in the hammer throw. He topped his own record set one week ago.
 
Women’s Outdoor Track Sprint/Hurdles Athlete of the Week – Sophia Ellerkmann, Denison
Denison junior Sophia Ellerkmann (Baltimore, MD/Roland Park Country School) recorded a new personal time in the 400-meter dash at the Ohio State University Jesse Owens Classic on Saturday. Ellerkmann clocked in at 58.56 seconds, which currently ranks no. 1 in the NCAC so far this season.
 
Women’s Outdoor Track Distance/Mid-Distance Athlete of the Week – Sage Reddish, Oberlin
Oberlin sophomore Sage Reddish (Ashland, OH/Ashland) turned in a career-best performance in the 800-meter run at the Sparky Adams Invitational to finish third in the event out of 41 runners. Reddish clocked in with a conference-leading time of 2:16.79 and also ran anchor on the 4x400 relay unit that placed second out of eight teams with a time of 4:12.69, which ranks sixth in the league.
 
Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week – Paula Soric, Kenyon
Kenyon sophomore Paula Soric (Zadar, Croatia/Gimnazija Franje Petrica Zadar) played a significant role as the Owls placed first at the inaugural Duane Gomez Invitational, contributing 18 team points. In her outdoor season debut, the reigning NCAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year rewrote the Kenyon record book in the triple jump. She leapt 11.70 meters to pace the field and break her own program record of 11.48 meters set last year. Additionally, Soric's mark broke the Wilder Track record of 11.69 meters set by Denison's Aedin Brennan in 2015. Soric also ran a leg on Kenyon's second-place 4x100-meter relay team that stopped the clock at 52.14. 

 
NCAC Milestones & Records (April 17 - 23)
Denison, Baseball – With his leadoff single in game one at DePauw on Wednesday, sophomore Eric Colaco (Richfield, OH/Revere) tied the Big Red’s single-season and career record for the longest hitting streak in program history, tying the record of 28 consecutive games set by Will Krushena from February 24 to April 16, 2019.
 
Denison, Women's Tennis – The Big Red finished the season 17-6 overall, its most wins in the six-year tenure of Head Coach Jamie Scott and its most wins in a single season since 2011 (18-5).
 
Denison, Outdoor Track & Field – On Friday at the Ohio State University Jesse Owens Classic, sophomore Andrew D'Asaro (Downington, PA/The Hill School) broke the Denison record in the javelin for the second time this season, doing so with a throw of 61.47 meters, which was good for fourth place. His previous record was 58.88 meters, set at the Wooster Dual Meet last week, which broke the original record of 57.85 meters set by Steve Gallego in 2009.
 
DePauw, Men’s Lacrosse – Senior Jack Kneisley (Larchmont, NY/Hackley School) became the program's career ground ball leader after recording six in Saturday's 18-3 win at Hiram. Kneisley broke the record of 243 held by Joe Garvey (2016-19) and now has 246. Sophomore Henry White (Kenilworth, IL/New Trier) posted six assists against Hiram to move his season total to 32, which broke the program record of 28 by Ben Sherman (2018). He moved into second place in program history with 56 points on the season.
 
Kenyon, Outdoor Track & Field – Multiple records were set at Kenyon's newly-named Duane Gomez Invitational on Saturday at Wilder Track. Junior Riley Orth (Cincinnati, OH/Anderson) notched a Kenyon record of 43.98 meters in the hammer toss. He topped his own record set one week ago. Sophomore Tapiwa Gono Phiri (Ndola, Zambia/Hillcrest National Tech.) set the Wilder Track record in the 100-meter dash, crossing the line in 10.83. That time broke the old mark of 10.91 set by Carlo Gagliardo in 2013. Finally, in women's competition, sophomore Paula Soric (Zadar, Croatia/Gimnazija Franje Petrica Zadar) leapt 11.70 meters on her sixth and final attempt in the triple jump, smashing her program record of 11.48 meters set one year ago. Additionally, Soric's triple jump mark broke the Wilder Track record of 11.69 meters set by Denison's Aedin Brennan in 2015.
 
Ohio Wesleyan, Outdoor Track & Field – Senior Ari McPheters (Reynoldsburg, OH/Bishop Hartley) won the shot put with throw of 45’ 5.25” at the Otterbein Twilight Invitational, defeating the second-place finisher by more than six feet and broke the school record of 44-11½ she set last year. McPheters leads the NCAC in the shot put by more than two feet and ranks 11th in NCAA Division III this season.
 
Wabash, Baseball – Head coach Jake Martin recorded his 300th career victory on Saturday with a 5-2 win over Kenyon College. Martin returned to his alma mater in 2017, earning 139 victories in seven seasons. He won 161 games in seven seasons as the head coach of the DePauw baseball program.
 
Wabash, Men’s Lacrosse – Senior Ethan Stonis (Naperville, IL/Benet Academy) tallied four goals in the Little Giants' 11-10 home loss to Wittenberg on Wednesday which gave him 51 for the season to become the first Wabash player in program history to tally 50 goals in a season.
 
Wittenberg, Outdoor Track & Field – Junior Sydney Khosla (Centerville, OH/Centerville) took second with a new school record time of 10:49.07 in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Rick Erdmann Twilight hosted by Eastern Kentucky University. Khosla’s time currently ranks eighth nationally and first in the conference.
 
Wooster, Men’s Lacrosse – Junior Casey Steffen (Danville, CA/Monte Vista) broke the school record with 12 caused turnovers in Saturday's game against Wittenberg. The 12 caused turnovers are a conference record and are the fifth-most in a game in NCAA Div. III history since caused turnovers became an official statistic in 2013. Steffen's 74 caused turnovers lead NCAA Div. III this spring and they are tied for the third-most in NCAA Div. III single-season history.
 
Wooster, Women's Lacrosse – Senior Hannah Shaw (Menlo Park, CA/Menlo-Atherton) scored her 100th collegiate goal on Saturday against DePauw.
