CLEVELAND, OH – The North Coast Athletic Conference is celebrating its 40th playing season by selecting All-Decade teams in all 23 championship sports. Student-athletes that competed in the NCAC between the 2013-14 and the 2022-23 seasons who earned Player of the Year honors, or who earned a minimum of three all-NCAC first-team nods during this time were named to the team.
In men’s lacrosse, 24 student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding accomplishments on the field.
Over the last 10 years, three different NCAC teams earned a league title in men’s lacrosse, including Denison (2014, ’16-17, ’19, ’21-23), Kenyon (2023), and Ohio Wesleyan (2015, ’18, ’23). Of the possible nine conference trophies, the Big Red won at least a share of seven crowns, while the Battling Bishops collected at least a share of three and the duo are currently tied for a league-leading 21 conference titles. Denison, Kenyon, and Ohio Wesleyan earned a share of the 2023 title, which marked the first time that the conference has named tri-champions in the sport since the 2011 season. No champions were crowned in 2020 due to COVID-19.
Founded in 1983, the North Coast Athletic Conference currently consists of nine academically selective NCAA Division III colleges and universities - Denison University, DePauw University, Hiram College, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wabash College, Wittenberg University, and the College of Wooster along with affiliate members Allegheny College, Earlham College, Transylvania University and Washington & Jefferson College (field hockey). The NCAC sponsors 23 championship sports, 11 for men and 12 for women.
