CLEVELAND, OH – The North Coast Athletic Conference is celebrating its 40th playing season by selecting All-Decade teams in all 23 championship sports. Student-athletes that competed in the NCAC between the 2013-14 and the 2022-23 seasons who earned Player of the Year honors, or who earned a minimum of three all-NCAC first-team nods during this time were named to the team.
In baseball, 19 student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding accomplishments on the field.
Five different NCAC teams earned a league title in baseball over the last 10 years, including Denison (2021-24), DePauw (2014), Oberlin (2015), Wittenberg (2023) and Wooster (2016-19). Throughout the decade, DePauw, Oberlin and Wittenberg won their first and only league crowns, respectively, while Wooster's four titles from 2016 to 2019 extended the program's league-leading collection of trophies to 19. Denison earned its first title in program history in 2021 and has since extended its streak to four. No champions were crowned in 2020 due to COVID-19.
Founded in 1983, the North Coast Athletic Conference currently consists of nine academically selective NCAA Division III colleges and universities - Denison University, DePauw University, Hiram College, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wabash College, Wittenberg University, and the College of Wooster along with affiliate members Allegheny College, Earlham College, Transylvania University and Washington & Jefferson College (field hockey). The NCAC sponsors 23 championship sports, 11 for men and 12 for women.
