Four NCAC Teams Earn GCAA Awards; Kenyon Named National Champions

NORMAN, OK - The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) has announced the 2023-24 Outstanding Team Academic Award recipients and four North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) teams have been named including Denison, Kenyon, Ohio Wesleyan and Wabash. The league was highlighted by the Owls as they were named the organization’s NCAA Division III National Champion with a 3.726 team grade point average.

While there were 43 NCAA Division III men's golf programs that earned the All-Academic Team Award, there were only 14, including the Owls and the Little Giants, that earned Presidents Special Recognition for having a team grade point average of 3.50 or better.

To be eligible for the GCAA All-Academic Team honor, a college or university had to submit the grade point averages for each golfer on its official roster. The team's combined grade point average had to be 3.00 or better.
