CLEVELAND, OH – Two North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) women's basketball student-athletes were recognized on the 2025-26 D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Teams, released Wednesday afternoon. Ohio Wesleyan junior forward
Macy Miller (Marysville, OH/Milford Center Fairbanks) earned first-team honors, while John Carroll senior guard/forward
Ava Ryncarz (Aurora, OH/Aurora) was selected to the fifth team.
A fourth-team D3hoops.com All-American last season, Miller helped guide the Battling Bishops to a 25-4 overall record and a perfect 14-0 mark in NCAC play, capturing the NCAC title and advancing to the third round of the NCAA Tournament. The reigning NCAC Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference honoree averaged 16.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 steals, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game last season.
Ryncarz, a fifth-team preseason selection, returns following a strong 2024-25 campaign in which she helped lead the Blue Streaks to a 19-7 overall record and a 13-5 mark in OAC play. The first-team All-OAC honoree averaged 16.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, shot 37.7 percent from the field, and led the league in free throw percentage (88.8), while averaging 2.8 three-pointers per game a season ago.
