2025 All-NCAC Volleyball Team Announced

CLEVELAND, OH -- Wittenberg sophomore setter Mary Sulfridge (South Charleston, OH/Southeastern) has been named both the Player of the Year and the Setter of the Year, while DePauw senior defensive specialist Grace Myers (New Palestine, IN/New Palestine) repeats as the Defensive Player of the Year to highlight the 2025 All-North Coast Athletic Conference volleyball selections.

Sulfridge captures Wittenberg’s 21st NCAC Player of the Year award, first since Maddie Fischer (2017), while also becoming the first Wittenberg Tiger to collect the conference’s Setter of the Year honor. The sophomore helped lead the Tigers to a perfect 7-0 record in NCAC play to earn the top seed in the conference postseason. Individually in 21 sets of conference action, Sulfridge produced a league-high 10.19 assists per set. Offensively, the setter has orchestrated one of the conference’s most balanced and efficient offenses that topped the league in hitting percentage (.283), assists per set (12.48), kills per set (14.10), and total points (18.83). Defensively, Sulfridge made her presence felt at the net, tallying 0.62 blocks per set (3 solo, 10 assist) to go along with 1.76 digs per set (37) against NCAC opponents.

Myers, the 2023 Libero of the Year, collects her second-consecutive NCAC Defensive Player of the Year honor and her third-straight first-team selection. The defensive specialist finished the conference regular season with the second-most digs with 4.48 per set, posting 112 digs in 25 conference sets. The senior recorded 13 or more digs in every league contest and eclipsed the 20-dig mark in two league matches. Myers also recorded nine service aces (0.36/set) in conference action.

Joining Myers and Sulfridge on the first team are five student-athletes making their All-NCAC debuts; John Carroll junior outside hitter Natalie Glowe (Kirtland, OH/Kirtland) and sophomore outside hitter/defensive specialist Olivia Mogyordy (Westlake, OH/Westlake HS), Ohio Wesleyan first-year middle blocker Abby Nulph (West Jefferson, OH/West Jefferson) and Wittenberg junior right side/middle blocker Kait Colahan (Vermilion, OH/Vermilion) and senior outside hitter Kaili Worcester (Powell, OH/Olentangy Liberty).

In addition to first-team honors, Ohio Wesleyan’s Nulph was named the 2025 NCAC Newcomer of the Year as the league’s top player in her first year of collegiate competition. She is the sixth Battling Bishop to receive the honor, and first since junior teammate Natalie Dieball (Cincinnati, OH/Lakota East) was named in 2023. Offensively against league opponents, the middle blocker led the NCAC with the most efficient hitting percentage (.476) and landed among the top 10 in service aces (10) and points (69.5). In 25 NCAC sets, Nulph posted the second-most blocks with 29, averaging 1.16 per set to rank second in the league. Ohio Wesleyan earned the third seed in the NCAC tournament after turning in a 5-2 mark in league matchups.
