FanWord to sponsor Bowl halftime featuring Special Olympics Flag Football game

LINCOLN, NE – The Opendorse Bowl Series is proud to announce its sponsorship agreement with FanWord, the leading AI-powered storytelling platform in college athletics, to help enhance the overall experience for all involved with the games on November 22, 2025.

Now in its second year, the Opendorse Football Bowl Series is scheduled to take place at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, on Saturday, November 22, and showcase Division III football in a first-class setting.

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC), the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), and the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) will each be represented in bowl games, with the ForeverLawn Bowl kicking off at 1 p.m. ET and followed by the Extra Points Bowl at 6 p.m. ET.

The match-ups and teams chosen to compete were not selected for the NCAA Playoffs, ensuring a postseason opportunity for student-athletes to compete at a historic venue to cap off their season with top-notch competition. This year’s matchups include: “Celebrating our student-athletes is one of the reasons our conferences have come together in this Bowl Series. Partnering with FanWord is such a natural fit as they are the storytellers of college sports,” said Keri Alexander Luchowski, Executive Director of the NCAC. “We are thrilled to work with Christopher and his team to help us shine a light on the amazing student-athletes in our conferences.”

As part of the agreement, FanWord is the sponsor of the Halftime Show for the ForeverLawn Bowl and features a special event in collaboration with the Special Olympics. The halftime festivities will include a flag football game between the Fayette County Dragons from Special Olympics Ohio and Team Washington/Greene Counties from Special Olympics Pennsylvania.

“We’re incredibly excited to support the Opendorse Football Bowl Series,” said FanWord CEO Christopher Aumueller. “FanWord was built to help highlight the stories of athletes and programs across all levels of college athletics, so supporting this Bowl Series is both an honor and a natural fit for our company. We couldn’t be more grateful to help celebrate these amazing programs and student-athletes this week."
